For WiFi APs, I suggested getting used Ruckus r610/r710 APs and load them with ruckus unleashed firmware. No support contract needed. One of my friends replaced his amplifi HD and his family stop complaining about bad WiFi. Anyway, l have been deploying ruckus APs to clients since 2014 and it’s great and very reliable

I don’t want to say price isn’t an issue, but I’m willing to spend a bit more than your average Linksys or TP-Link. I currently have an AMPLIFI which is pretty decent but I’ve outgrown its capabilities.

I’d be willing to look at Meraki if it didn’t have the internet requirement like Unifi does.

I’m even willing to consider separate router and AP setups if it works better.

- Full DHCP support (AMPLIFI breaks here - loses DNS assignments when internet goes out and falls back to default gateway in DHCP)

Our consistent search for a powerful and reliable AC WiFi system is over. Six months operating and zero reboots and zero dropouts anywhere in my home and full power 30 yards out on the street. Three Amazon Fire TVs could be streaming UHD content at the same time with no hiccups or buffering. This is the same experience as being wired for our available internet speeds (200 Down/15 Up)
