Despite my reservations about buying a shoe that was a half size smaller than every other pair I own, these felt comfortable on my feet from the get go, and I was wearing athletic socks at the time. I believe these are the Leo last, and they fit just as good with thinner dress socks - snug in the heel and instep, but room to comfortably wiggle my toes. After wearing them for about a week, and applying some boot conditioner (otter-wax boot wax) they are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned, and they are only just beginning to wear in. One of my favorite features is that the tongue is attached almost to the top of the boot, this makes it so that if you step in snow or water past the laces it doesn’t flood into the boot around the bottom of the tongue. I got the Copper Rough and Tough leather color (model 8830) but I found that the actual color is a little lighter and more orange than the photos (almost like the Oro Legacy color #887). They fit on the thinner side,it was a chore to brack them in,after that the feel of the boot is good,wish I could say the same for the soles,didt las that much,around 6 months I would say,and now I need to get them to red wings for a new pair of soles. Aside from that they look phenomenal, I would absolutely buy this product again, and did I mentioned this model is made in the USA.
