Clarks Desert Mali

After about 2 years of wearing these down to bone and a year of procrastinating, I finally got around to resoling my pair of Clark’s Desert Mali Boots!. While they’re not as high quality as the greater majority of footwear that is featured on this subreddit, this was my first proper pair of boots; I loved them, and rather relegate them to the depth of my growing boot collection, I figured I’d at least try to revive them.

I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 so I ordered the size 9. A size 8.5 would have fit too, but I like a loose fit in this sort of boot. I bought the Taupe with the red sole. Like the look. Wore them on on a 5 mile hike and they quickly started giving me blisters on my heels. I had moleskin in my medkit than...

Anyhoo, the leather itself is really nice. It reminds me of my Clarks Desert Mali Boots

The color did indeed wear off with any added pressure. I would avoid the leather on this shoe unless you like an extremely worn look in a boot. I returned my pair after only trying on the right foot.

Boot seemed to be of excellent quality in both material and build unfortunately they were too small. Kudos to Amazon for free returns. :D
