 -(personal preference) Could use more weight  Maybe I just need more time with it but for FPS gaming I would not recommend it at the moment. The way the buttons are laid out causes to many miss clicks when your trying to do things quickly. Mouse simply just doesn't have enough room for its own buttons to not be in the way of each other. I think you're gon na notice a difference right there if you're using at least 144 hertz monitor - and you got something that can take the demand. Razer Viper 8K Gaming Mouse Review

 The shape is not for me (too long and not high enough of a hump to cup with my hand). But 8KHz polling is amazing and the difference in game was instantly noticeable for me. I immediately noticed how much less effort I had to put into aiming to achieve similar results as my old mouse (albeit the shape is worse). The thumb buttons on the other side of the mouse do not interfere with my grip but I did disable them to prevent any accidental clicks

I just want you guys to realize that this is whether or not i'm coming from a perspective of a top-tier level. Competitive player, whether or not the increased pulling rate makes a difference, and i can say that for me it did

 This video, when i'm able to resolve whatever issue i'm having and i will release a full review when i get 8000 hertz rolling just to kind of get into it guys the shape is the same as the viper ultimate and the regular viper, the texture and the Side clicks have remained fairly. The same. I'Ve always been a fan of the texture on the viper and the viper ultimate like the 8k hertz. I think that the texture feels good, it's good to good for the purposes of keeping moisture away and just generally provides a overall, solid grip

 Like my g pro super light as far as side flicks on mouse one and mouse, two i've got virtually none, which is absolutely phenomenal. The middle mouse does have a nice tactile rubber on the scroll wheel, which feels, in my opinion, very good and middle mouse, feels good. I would say that the switches are tactile, but they do feel a little hollow compared to something like the kl 8.0 in the xl1r, still tactile still good still recommendable, but nothing compared to the kale 8

 I had a little bit of scratchiness, initially and after initial, probably 30 to 45 minutes. They broke in and feel absolutely phenomenal. Just to show you guys the weight of the mouse with a little bit of cable, the mouse actually is advertised on the box at 71 grams, my mouse with a little bit of cable, comes in between 69 and 70 grams. Personally, i can say that the cable out of the box is rather good, but it is not comparable to a cable like the xm1r

You manually choose DPI level from 100 to 20000 with 50 increments, although I can't even imagine what kind of person would use 20k DPI

 Probably the biggest downside of this mouse is the lack of button on mouse itself to change mouse profiles; you should either open Synapse app and change it from there or assign one of the buttons for it  Viper got a vast DPI range and it's fully customizable. You manually choose DPI level from 100 to 20000 with 50 increments, although I can't even imagine what kind of person would use 20k DPI. You can also set DPI stages from 2 to 5 with entirely customizable sensitivity levels.  As for 8KHz polling rate, it's kind of ahead of it's time

I bought the used very good condition mouse from amazon and it looks brand new.  The mouse itself is very ergonomic and comfortable, a new favorite for me. I have had issues with mice being too small in the past but this feels perfect for me. All buttons feel very nice to press and the scroll wheel is uniquely nice

Great Gaming and Production Mouse

You can program all of its buttons using Razer's Synapse 3 software, and you can also set a Hypershift button to enable a second layer of commands. In terms of performance, it has extremely low click latency, and although you can't adjust the CPI as precisely or within as wide of a range as some mice, most gamers will likely find it's more than adequate.

Unfortunately, it only has two buttons on the left side, so it isn't a true-ambidextrous mouse like other mice in the Razer Viper lineup with two buttons on either side. Its small size also isn't suitable for larger hands using anything other than a fingertip grip.
