 So, first off it's going to ship to you completely free it'll arrive in a big box. That'S around four feet tall! All you do is drag that box into your home, open it up, dump out all the contents, rip off all the plastic and unroll it onto your foundation. It'S a super easy unboxing process. It practically takes no time at all and it's actually pretty fun

 The edge support on the original purple is pretty dang good. The old model used to have just okay edge support, but the new one incorporated kind of a foam border along the edges, so that has really improved the edge support on this particular mattress. We don't think you're going to be falling off this bed anytime soon, if your partner happens to be a major bed. Hog same goes for motion isolation, that proprietary material also does a pretty good job at absorbing cross-mattress movement

So if you're a light sleeper and your partner happens to wake up in the middle of the night, often their movement shouldn't really travel across the bed and wake you up. Temperature regulation on this bed is also really good

 But then, when you go to switch to your side, that material conforms nicely to the shape of your shoulders and hips, and you get a good amount of pressure. Relief for those areas in terms of firmness, the original purple mattress clocks in at about a proper medium on our scale, so it should work for all sleeper types back side, stomach and combination. Keep in mind, though, that firmness is a pretty subjective thing. That'S mostly going to depend on how much you weigh so heavier people like myself might find it to be a bit softer than a medium, because they're going to sink in more to its top layer, whereas more petite people like d-lo behind the camera might find it To be a bit firmer than that, because they're going to lay more on top dude, i sink in i'm six feet tall dude i'm and i bought yeah

 After numerous FedEx delays, each piece arrived on different trucks on different days!  Assembly of the bed frame and headboard was easy (tools required were included!) once the bad was opened, the Mattress took shape. I was expecting it to have a strong odor. NOT THE CASE! We were able to use the bed the next night! Bed Frame is sturdy and mattress is supportive, very comfortable, relieved stiff back and pain. Truly a great value for the price! Would buy it again!

I purchased my mattress about 16 months ago, and it is already completely losing structure to the point that it causes severe back pain. If you look at my picture you can see two bottles of equal weight on two different parts of the bed, and even though they only weigh a couple of pounds you can see one where it hasn't collapsed (yet) on the left, and the other on the right where you can see that any back support has failed all the way down to the coils.  After doing some searching, I've read that purple switched to cheaper materials to increase profits, and many other people are having the same problem! (so take old positive reviews with a grain of salt)  What's worse is they try every which way not to honor the warranty (seriously before you buy, read all the loopholes in their warranty policy on their website that make sure they don't have to honor it)  Do not buy a purplebed if you don't want to find yourself in a year having spent thousands of dollars and be out a bed. It is a poorly made bed and if you look beyond their quirky marketing you will see they are just another company with sleazy business practices

My wife is a lot younger than me… doesn’t have any back problems… she refuses to sleep in our master bedroom because of the Purple mattress. She just can’t sleep on it. She hurts all over in the morning so gave up a long time before I did

I bought this mattress based on the rave reviews from people with the same chronic back problems I suffer from. I had such high hopes that, finally, a mattress company would actually have something to provide me some relief. And with a reasonable return policy to help make sure it’s right for me.  I gave the mattress a long trial period… I gave it a chance… to see if it would be better than my $2000+ Sleep Number bed

They help start this whole bed in a box craze and the original mattress is one of the most popular beds you can find online. Now they do make a couple of other beds that we're going to briefly mention in today's video, but we're going to be focusing our attention on the Original

 Our full review of that bed should be in the description as well. Let's move over to how this mattress fares for couples, and since its firmness and feel is so accommodating, we think it's very easy for two people to agree on that. So you're going to want to know about edge support and motion isolation. Motion isolation refers to how well the mattress absorbs cross mattress motion and the tufts and needle mattress does this pretty well

 This is a 10 inch thick mattress and it has only two foam layers. You have seven inches of a dense support foam on the bottom, which is a pretty common type of foam you find in these beds. And then on top you have a three inch layer of Tnn Adaptive foam which is proprietary to Tuft Needle. This is a soft, responsive, neutral feeling comfort foam

I just got a Tuft & Needle Original queen mattress. Buying and unpacking experience was just fine. Good ship times, easy to get set up, didn't take long to 'plump' out.

To me, however, it feels pretty darn firm. Does anyone have experience with this mattress? It's not bad sleeping on the back, but side sleeping is a little challenging. I've only slept on it 2 nights so far and have woken up a couple times with hands going numb because my shoulders don't sink into it enough.

 It bothers me when people say things like, "THIS IS TOO FIRM! >:[ " or "This is like sleeping in a fluffy magical cloud in heaven next to Jesus! :D"  Honestly, for me, this was right down the middle. Balanced. Not too firm, not too soft. Laying on my stomach, back, and side were very comfortable

 I threw my back out about a year ago - and my mattress [before T&N] was incrementally, day by day, exacerbating my bulging disk. Also, waking up with extremely tight shoulders. 4. This was a difficult decision for me to purchase this mattress

 but much better. My shoulders are only a little jacked up anymore, way better. I think I may need a lumbar pillow.  So after two weeks of using this mattress

  Tuft & Needle may just be too firm for me. :( I cannot return it because I purchased through Amazon and the 30 day trial has passed. I want to love this mattress, I think the company has the right idea and is reasonably priced. So at this point, for me, it is an acceptable mattress at a reasonable price

 And we are gonna do a little bit of research and recommend to you some different products as far as maintaining your mattresses kind of original quality. We did not do the greatest job of taking care of this with mattress protectors and things so that is number one. Highly recommended. but if you're in a case like us where maybe didn't protect your mattress and you want to see how this turns up and keep on watching

 My biggest suggestion to you in this whole process would be just avoid the process by hitting a mattress protector there. Waterproof. They protect from staining and all these different things. They're great
