 Then my final like is the grip and the stability that this shoe gives you especially when cornering the puma grip on the bottom here is just absolutely fantastic as a winter shoe here in the UK autumn winter when the ground is going to be wet quite a lot for a lot of people in the northern hemisphere at the moment just gives you a really good amount of confidence when you're going into like a sharp corner or something really nice stable ride for all weather conditions. Now coming on to my dislikes well it's difficult because I've just been praising the puma grip on the bottom and I do love it I'm not taking away from that but with that amount of rubber there you do lose a bit of feedback from the road it is a bit of a muted ride compared to something like the Endorphin 3 but I'm really sort of nitpicking here because I do love the grip that that brings in but there is a cost to that and that is that muted ride. Then finally my second dislike it's just a little bit on the heavy side again against maybe the class leader in this one the Soconi Endorphin Speed 3 it's just a little bit heavy that's all coming from this puma outsole grip so really all I can say here is if you want to go out in all weather conditions or a shoe to train through the winter it's fantastic but with that grip comes a few little negatives. Right let's bring all of that together for a conclusion and who is this shoe for most importantly I think this shoe really is for someone that wants a daily trainer that they want to be able to get out have some fun in if you're on the fence about having a plate in your shoe this would be a really good entry into that market not every likes plates but with this one it's not super stiff it shouldn't be taxing your legs anymore so I'd really recommend it it's going to be good at all distances your 5k's your 10k's your half marathons your marathon training long runs I'd happily run a marathon this shoe if you don't go all out on spend sort of 200 250 pounds on these super shoes this will have you covered at a much cheaper budget for me is it going for rotation definitely I've really loved running in a shoe it's been a real surprise I haven't run in too many puma shoes so far but this one has just over exceeded my expectations if you want to check out my thoughts on the Soconi Endorphin Speed 3 we'll link to that video down below we've got a comparison video between the two and see which one comes out on top so that's it guys I hope you found the video useful please stay tuned for loads more running reviews and all sorts of little running topics we'll be here covering on the extra mile go check out the other videos and I will see you out on the roads or the trails very very soon keep on getting done guys and we'll see you in the next one

They clearly make the fastest shoe in the world they make Usain Bolt's shoes. Are they something you're looking at? Are they something you're considering? Or are you a big Puma fan already? My most surprising shoe of 2022! Puma Deviate Nitro 2 Honest Review .. best plated training shoe??

 But it doesn't have that super soft cushioned feel in the forefoot, like I've gotten this year from the On Cloud Monster and from the A6 Nova Blast 3. But it does feel consistently cushioned throughout. It's not super firm, it's not super soft, it sits kind of in the middle. But you do get a little bit more of a bounce from the Nitro Elite midsole introduction where you have the dual density bottom and top

 It's built to be kind of that workhorse trainer, long run shoe, maybe a little bit of temple work. It's got a full length carbon fiber plate, which does give it a lot of longitudinal bending stiffness. It's pretty stiff from front to back, does not have a lot of flex, which means that the shoe for you has to line up well with where your rockers are in your foot, making sure that that forefoot rocker in the Apex feels good as you're running through. For me, it felt really smooth and really good

First Look at the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 | Sub 2

 The shoe remains with the plate in it, the carbon infused power plate or whatever it's called. That still remains in the shoe which is good. It's again there a little bit of stability but also gives you that nice pop off the foot with the Nitro Elite Foam. Power run I was going to say, Puma Crip Outsole which is a beast and what else, 6mm drop, 130 quip you can get 10% off at startfitness

 It's that comfortable and it feels pretty quick. So yeah, I think that's the sort of best way to end the video. I've been running along here at nine minute miles nice and easy. This felt great

I weigh I think about 10 ounces from memory from my UK, nine and a half. So I've been using the shoe as a daily trainer, rightly or wrongly that's where it's fitting in for me

Best Running Shoes of 2022 - GearLab

 I think the main areas are in the hill versus version one and the overlays, which definitely, i feel add a little bit of structure we'll come to that in a second but, like i said, the outsoles unchanged mid cells, unchanged, okay right, so that's the stats and Features, it's definitely a heavier feeling shoe there's about well, not much in it i'll put the weights up in terms of the differences between the two, but there's not much in it, but there is definitely a little bit more weight in this shoe versus this one uh. This shoe is 155 pounds by the way i forgot to mention. Let me just put version one back: okay right so in terms of feeling, if you've never tried a speed, um shoe, it doesn't matter version. One version: two: the heel to toe transition is incredible

 If you can only buy one pair of shoes, people it would be the saucony endorphin speed, either version one or version two 

 You can see how i ruined it and that's the problem with white shoes, but anyway we'll talk about the differences. So the main differences really are in the upper and what you can see, hopefully, is the overlays and the structure they've added down the sides of the shoe and i'll show you, and mainly on the heel, counters and there's definitely more structure in the heel counter. On version two also across the midfoot they've made improvements in terms of fit um. It'S got like a band there

 It is very breathable, the outsole is great um and, like i proved on the old version, i've still got plenty of tread on that, so these things are built for durability. Let me know in the comments: if you've had any issues in terms of durability with the speed i don't know anybody who's had a problem with them, um and yeah. I i just don't see what else there is for the everyday runner uh, and i count myself.  So this is definitely a road running shoe and the pattern seems to work perfectly well for that. Those are all the basic facts about the shoe. Let'S talk about what reviewers from around the internet liked about the shoe and what they didn't like so much starting off with positives most reviewers complimented this shoe on the lockdown and they fit. They thought that the improved lacing system, the redesigned heel counter, did a great job of keeping their foot secure mile after mile

 Saucony calls their engineer mesh form fit which is supposedly inspired by the mesh. That'S on their track shoes. Now. What does that mean for you? Well, this is a very breathable mesh

It'S a fine layer of mesh, that's basically fused directly to mesh with larger holes, and you also do have some fused overlays that provide some additional structure to the mesh, which is really pretty pliable and can move around fairly easily. Now the toe area. You do get a plastic piece that does support the upper, so you keep that silhouette nice, no matter how long you run the shoe the tongue on the shoe is partially gusted

SAUCONY ENDORPHIN SPEED 2 | What You Need to Know | Mens Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 Review | Plated

 Decent for speedy/tempo runs, and they replaced some Nike Zoom Fly 3’s. The ZF3s felt faster for short bursts but I prefer the lighter weight of these.
