 So it's good, but not good enough for me to just go like, whoa, I just want to listen to vinyl the whole night, right? I know this is probably not what you want to hear. You probably want to hear like, oh, this is so fantastic that, you know, I can't stop listening. But I do want to give an honest impression of what I think of it, right? It's good for a price.  But it's definitely better sounding, let's say, then compared to my Audio Technica LS120 that I owned about two years ago when I first started my stereo journey. That turntable sounded digital. You're probably wondering, it's an analog device, how can it sound digital? But if you google on that specific turntable, you'll see people talking about it, that it does sound digital. This is significantly better than that in terms of sounding analog

 So I didn't want to go out and spend two, three thousand dollars getting a turntable and I came across this project used and it was okay. I thought the price was reasonable. Project debut 3 (debut III) turntable review / impresion

 Hey YouTube, it's Thomas here. So today I'm going to talk about my turntable, the Project Debut 3.

 So the reason why I got it is because of all my friends telling me that, you know, vinyl is better than CD,

 better than high definition music that I can get from the internet and

 you know, and I hear that a lot so I decided, you know, why not? Let's give it a try.

 The problem is that I'm cheap. So I didn't want to go out and spend two, three thousand dollars getting a turntable and

 it was okay. I thought the price was reasonable. You know, this is like a five hundred dollar brand new turntable, right?

 So I say, okay, this is a good starting point. So yeah,

 this is my, this is a video on my impression of it.

 It's not really a review because I don't have enough

 experience with turntable to really give an in-depth review, but I didn't want to quickly talk about it before I sell it.

 So what I like about the turntable is that it looks really cool. The red looks very modern.

 It's a very simple design. You don't have a lot of fancy buttons on it. The power switch is actually on the bottom here.

 You also have the legs on the bottom where you can adjust. I think that's true for all turntable.

 Actually not on this, not on my other turntable.

 So turntable, like any other stereo equipment that I've owned, you get what you pay for.

 So if you're somebody who's used to, let's say, a very high-end DAC, like

 $4,000 brand-new, then this will not be able to compete. If you're somebody who was owning a DAC

 that's about $700 used, yeah, this is okay then.

 Meaning that your DAC will give you more

 stuff that this cannot give you, and this can give you stuff that your DAC cannot give you. For example, when I compare it to,

 let's say, my sound card, my computer sound card,

 this Asus, which is pretty good actually, this Asus sound card,

 this turntable has more layers, meaning that when in the song,

 I can tell that, you know, you have instrument in front, at the back, much more clear than, let's say, my sound card

 DAC, right? And this is not a bad sound card DAC. It cost about $200-$300 when it was new.

 well, it's based on my memory, right? That were in the $500-$700 zone, this can

 Now, if you're somebody who owns DACs that are $1,000 used and up, then you might be slightly

 underwhelmed by its performance, right? And that's normal. As I said, you get what you pay for. If you get a

 turntable that costs $400-$500 brand-new, you cannot expect it to perform at the same level as

 stereo equipment that are in the $1,000 zone and up, right?

 But it does give me something that my DACs cannot give. There's just something

 Maybe it's because it has better dynamic range and blah blah blah blah blah.

 But there are times when I listen to recordings, especially the vinyls from the 70s,

 I'm like, well, this sounds really good.

 I don't want to hear the same song on, let's say, in digital format.

 You know, it just sounds really good in analog format. And the popcorn thing, the popcorn sound,

 I get used to it. You get used to it. Another thing that's important when you get a

 turntable is to make sure you get a good phono stage, right? You can either buy one of these boxes.

 This is a Project Tube Box 2 that uses two

 tubes here. I think these are 12 AX7s, and

 It's very important to phono stage because when I was using this turntable with my Morant SC1211,

 that built-in phono stage. However, compared to, let's say, my

 I don't know if you can see it here, the P222,

 phono stage is probably one of the best phono stages you can get for the money, right? So when I

 pair this project with it, it sounds pretty good. When I pair it, let's say, with my Morant,

 So should you get it? Let's put it this way.

 If you can get one for two or three hundred bucks, it's a good entry to the world of vinyl, right?

 But I'm pretty sure if you're used to DACs that are in the thousand, two thousand,

 you'll end up doing what I'm going to do, which is
