Pro-Ject Debut Carbon (DC) Turntable Review
The debut carbon should be at the top of your list in all its iterations over the years. It's always been one of the best values in audio and the newest model continues to raise the bar. The combination of the carbon fiber tone arm and speed control, coupled with the outstanding performance that order phone read cartridge, provides a great experience at $ 449

Much better than expected.
Let me start by saying I'm no audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, although I know what I like when I hear it. I've owned direct drive turntables for the last forty-five years, some lasting longer than others and at the equivalent of over twice the price I paid for this one. This time aroun...

Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO Turntable | REVIEW
TPE damping at work, I suspect. Again, I admit to being a mostly virgin vinyl enthusiast, but what experience and knowledge I’ve been lucky and humbled to absorb from vinyl mastering guys, our very own Dave McNair, and other members of PTA and the hi-fi world, has shown me enough that I feel confident saying the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO offers quite a lot of value for the money.
House caught in the crossfire of a drive-by, had to move to an apartment and store most of my equipment, and now I'm happysad
* Pro-ject Debut Carbon Series TT. * Raspberry Pi-4 with Hifiberry DAC+ Pro running piCorePlayer as a streaming "squeezebox" to connect to a Logitech Media Server running on my personal computer, so I can stream Tidal and stored music files "from an App" (iPeng) on my phone at 192khz/24 bit quality.

Finally got my living room setup, sounding sweet!
Current setup: Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable, NAD Masters M32 Direct Digital amp, Cambridge Audio CXC CD transport, REL T/7i subwoofer, and my old Linn Kans from the mid-'80s (I used to have the Linn stands for them but lost them in a move). Sounds amazing, but I feel like the speaker stands aren't stable enough (not enough mass).
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO Turntable - The Absolute Sound
By the time I finished with this review, the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO had disappeared into my system. It sounded terrific, and for a while there I was totally content with a turntable that costs a fifth of my main deck. That’s almost astonishing, but not quite, not really, since I know Pro-Ject makes great-sounding gear at reasonable prices

I've been running my Music Hall MMF-2.2 since I got into the hobby in 2012. Today I decided to upgrade, finally. Extremely happy with the decision.
Since I first stepped into vinyl in 2012, I've been using the same Music Hall MMF-2.2 and a Pro-Ject Carbon Debut. This is my first time upgrading since then. I'm only a few hours into listening but jesus christ, an absolute world of a difference with this table. Everything is so transparent and so quiet.
