If you want to use these as part of a larger ensemble of speakers, these are likely great for higher frequency sound. If you have the ability to purchase a better speaker without constraints of space to hold them or funds, I'd say go a bit higher on the quality spectrum and get a bigger speaker box with a bigger bass punch. If you have $190 to spend on those used speakers with no warranty (I don’t care what the seller claims, if they have no warranty then you should think of them as used) then you are ten bucks away from affording a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 220’s. I would choose those, no question. They’ll have a sound that’s more neutral, probably a bit toward the warm side of neutral, which for most people’s ears is a better bet. I would also probably choose the Wharfedales over the Elacs others have posted here

I'm new to the hi-fi game and so these are the best speakers I've owned. I think the rose gold cones are a nice accent to the rest of my system which is black. My last speakers were budget speakers (Wharfedale Diamond 220) which sounded nice at lower volume but struggled when I turned the knob hard right. These are clearly in a different league
