Price Range

Upgrading double kick pedals

DW 9000s, Pearl Demon Drives, and Yamaha FP 9s are out of your price range unless you're lucky enough to find them used. IC/SC 910s are in roughly the same "tier" as these but are closer to your budget, assuming this stuff is comparably priced in Australia; these have more adjustments than the 310s and include the Cobra Coil (available as a separate upgrade for the 310s).

Trick Dominator vs Tama Speed Cobra? I’m torn between the two for my next upgrade. They both are significantly smoother and faster than my current iron cobra. But do any of you have these? How do they compare durability over years of usage? Any design flaws that set them apart from eachother?

That Trick is the "budget" of serious direct drive pedals, so if you are into extreme metal music go for it. Also the no lag drive link inmediately sets that pedal over the Speed Cobra.
