I've had the card for a few months now, but haven't been able to use it due to not having the right cables for it. Been using it the last few days, and so far I'm impressed. There's a notable difference in my performance, especially with more high-end games. Very good, except for one issue.

 Amazingly no surprises there, alright, so in newer game we have Jedi fallen order. Now, I'm running this all on epic settings, which is like the highest settings. You can get for this game that it runs very well on my settings. I was getting like 80 frames

 For example, if you put your um once, if you put your power limit up to from 100 % to like 105 106 or 10 %, it's not gon na really do much. It will just boost your performance, a slight tad if you put the clock rate in the memory clock rate up a little bit as well, like I've done. I hit my clock rate so like a hundred megahertz, a second like plus 100 megahertz per second and that's 200 - it just it's just a slight boost in performance, but other than that. The core card itself does enough like when I was running doom and GTA, and destiny and Jedi fallen order and siege

 Just stays like 200 frames, all the time, obviously depending on what level you're on as well but storms with you've deemed dooms already an amazingly well optimized game. So this is just a no-brainer using the volk and graphics API as well, so yeah doing runs. Amazingly no surprises there, alright, so in newer game we have Jedi fallen order. Can get hot playing warzone! Old GPU was a 1060, and this 2060 jump my FPS from 70ish to around 130ish. Definitely a power upgrade.

It's nice.

 The keyboard is comfortable to type on for extended periods but it might take you a day or two to get used to it. Gaming and productivity wise it performs as well as more expensive laptops with similar specs but Gateway did go stingy with the RAM and storage so you might want to consider upgrading them in the future.

$900 Light Gaming USA

An RTX 2060 Super should work, it would be about the minimum I would try 1440p UW with, but I think with lower settings it might suffice. Even though 1080p would be better performance, the image quality on 1440p is much better (about 2x the detail) and much better on the desktop for work or web browsing.

Hi.  I've never had an ultrawide.  I actually just cancelled an order for an 34GN850-B because I read a post about how my card would struggle.  I'm fine with being a year or two behind the cutting edge.  Prey, Control, and Doom Eternal are still on my playlist.

70% of my monitor usage is desktop stuff.  Text sharpness and color accuracy are important.  FPS is more important than all the details being cranked.

I'm still using an HD monitor so either way is going to feel like an upgrade.  I just don't want to also have to buy a $1K video card.

On the other hand, I'd like to buy a monitor I'll be happy with for 5-10 years.

Debating LG 34GL750-B (1080) vs 34GN850-B (1440) because I have an RTX 2060 Super

 (believe me when I tell you this, 60hz to 144hz monitors with good refresh and response times is a game changer. ) I play CODMW/Rust/DayZ/PUBG/Ring for fps references. I average about 150-175 fps in MW. I don't have the setting maxed because I play to compete not for looks
