 Does not promote or advertise these as gaming cards anyway, so they aren't really meant to be treated as such, but uh who cares working at Bergan a game with them anyway. So now, let's take a look at games like like minecraft Super Meat, Boy, delvar csgo. Just really light games - and all I can say is this card - did break in all scenarios here: six pulled 60 FPS and like every really light game I testing, but on a csgo, medium and under P. I thought I'd point this little graph out

 This specific version is from gigabyte that I got for about $ 50. I know I know I only buy from MSI, however, they were taking literally forever to get theirs out and the version they did have out had no fan. It was just passively cooled and you know whatever card I got. I was going to be overclocking

 The PCB is black matte black also worth mentioning. The HDMI is a issue. My partner is gold-plated and lying, if not supports full HD, so the GK 208 core, underneath this heatsink is actually of the aging Kepler architecture, not something from Maxwell like you might expect, and this is clocked at 954 megahertz, so this would actually apply to all or At least most GT 7/10, because that is the base clock speech with the 710 and as well as they don't fact, really factory overclock. It says the same thing, but this little tiny star and the star wheats video, editing, video editing as measured by bass, mark CL benchmark so um, probably like gaming performance

Both can be found for around $100 and I wouldn't pay more than $150 for one, lately they've often been selling for more but there's always deals that pop up under $150, you've just gotta be on the lookout for them, when 3000 stock is better and you can get the gpu you actually wanted then you should be able to sell your placeholder card for around $100 once the market normalizes again. The GT 710 and 1030 that some people have recommended are NOT for gaming, they're only meant as a video output for cpu's without graphics and won't run most games well if at all, so if that's all you're looking for and you don't want to use your pc for gaming yet then those would be your cheapest options, I'd definitely recommend getting one used as you'll pay about half the price for it and you can either keep it as a troubleshooting card or sell it for pretty much what you bought it for.

I failed to realise how difficult it would be to find a 3080/3070 gpu and have been stuck with an unusable pc for a few months.   
Does anyone have advice on buying a gpu, I'm desperate and looking for anything temporary until I can get the gpu I really want.

Can't use my newly built pc with 5800x cpu, need advice

 When I start the computer up after hibernating and open the programs minimized to the task bar then are reduce in size about 1/3 of the screen and aligned in the top left corner so I have to resize the window. Never had the problem until I installed the video card but I can live with it.  Second con - there is zero performance improve in my system even when using VideoStudio X9. The only thing the video card does for me is allow me to run SketchUp 2017

 Not a deal breaker but something to be aware of.  Low power consumption!! I used my kill-a-watt meter and on one computer the power consumption was identical to the core i3 with built in video and on the computer I am using now it is around 3 to 5 watts extra at idle compared to before I installed the video card. Running temperature is very cool - I ran the MSI torture test and put my hand on the fan-less heat sink and it was barely warm! Normally it is room temperature.  Excellent

I have an Acer TC-885 desk top which came with a 2 gb HDD and I added a spare 1 gb drive I had laying around. I didn't like the on board graphics as you can't change the resolution as its greyed out so I bought a Gigabyte graphics card with a passive heat sink that took up 2 spaces. Now 2 years on I wanted to fit a 1tb SSD as the boot time was slow but the MB had no more sata sockets. No problem, I bought a PCIe dual sata card for the 1 tb HDD but the gigabyte card covered the slot with its heat sink

Looks like a good value for money grahics card.

 This means this graphic card has the same standby power as the integrated graphic chip set. - When running 3DMARK orXCOM: Enemy Unknown , my PC now consumes up to 85-90W. That means the graphic card consumes 15-20W when it is running at full speed.  After I played XCOM for several hours, the heatsink becomes too hot to touch, but not hot enough to cause a shutdown

 - After I installed the MSI VGA Drivers from disc, my monitor can now display 1920x1080 from VGA port, but nothing from HDMI port.  The problem could be from my computer's motherboard, since I observed the same behavior with theEVGA GeForce 210 I previously purchased (and returned). Just keep this behavior in mind, in case you cannot see any display right after installing the card.  [Graphic Performance] I ran the 3DMARK 'Cloud Gate' benchmark on my PC, both before and after the graphic card upgrade: - With integrated graphic, the overall score is a pathetic 209

 - After installing the GT 710, the score jumps up to 3735! (see my uploaded screenshots for details)  On the other hand, the GT 710 cannot hold a candle against my better graphic card, theEVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti . When both cards were tested in a newer desktop PC (Asus M32CD ), the 750 gives about 4x higher score . Note that the 750 does not fit in my old SFF PC since it is much larger.  So what's changed well, for starters, there are now four hdmi ports, so the card not only supports 4k resolution at 60 hertz, but it can support up to four monitors at 2160p as well, albeit only at 30 hertz.  I think it has something to do with the aaa being off, but i'm not entirely sure msi afterburner the software. I use to record the frame rate, won't work with forza horizon 4, so i've enlarged the fps counter in the corner. Luckily, the game offers a very low preset and a resolution of 1024x768, but it wasn't enough to make things playable. The frame rate also made driving really difficult, as you can see by my disastrous attempt at keeping my escort cosworth on the road

 Even then, the frame rates weren't, always playable crisis remastered started off okay, especially at the beginning of the game. During the opening parachute scene. I was trying to target 30 frames per second today, wherever possible, as we moved down toward the beach, the frame rate slowly decreased and all the gameplay was recorded externally.  Here in the uk, this one sells for roughly 60 pounds on average, which is only 2 pounds less than the cheapest gt 1030. So anyone looking for a 60hz single monitor experience should definitely get that instead, of course, for businesses who want one of these for a basic multi-display setup, the price probably isn't that much of a concern. But now it's gaming time does this passively called no frills card? Put up a better fight than gt 710s of years gone by well up against those awful ddr3 variants. Yes, but remember it's still not intended for intensive situations

 Yes - the PCB could have been colored black - or yellow instead of old school green, but I am not able to see it once installed anyway, so it does not matter much to me.  I tried finding info on it such as TRIM, drivers or encryption, but it DOES have all wear leveling features but no encryption. I did not mind the absence of encryption since my Teamgroup (which beat my old 860 Samsung by a lot) SSD did not have encryption or it's own drivers or firmware updates. Once this was installed - it blew away the Teamgroup, the old Samsung and it made my already speedy PC feel like a new PC!  The Samsung that I had always tested below the advertised speed

 Even GTA V loads quicker! I am running a 32" at 1440P.  I am glad that when I was picking up the Samsung (before I placed this order!), I returned it right then and there, as I saved about $55 and GAINED a whole lot in performance. SK said that they would revise their website and provide a toolbox (they should have had one before launch - for such a large company), but I am HAPPY that I made this purchase and I trusted this brand because they actually design, MANUFACTURE and SUPPLY the memory to other brands, so of course they know what they are doing more than the other brands!  I give this the same praise as the pro reviewers do! The performance and the price make this a no contest for other brands! You get the performance (or better) of other brands TOP (most expensive) drives or better - for only $135! Again, SK Hynix MAKES the memory, so that is why they can bring such high quality for so low! If you do not know companies that are involved with the sources of PC components - just trust us and get this!

 The Teamgroup drive tested 3110 read and 2008 write when the specs called for 3300 and 2500. The SK tested (using Samsung Magician) 3440 read and 3241 write! This is the first drive I had that got just about at the stated speeds! The increased write speeds truly make a difference in all functions! I was not sure of the benefits of faster write speeds, but once I started checking websites and DOWNLOADING games, playing games and video editing - I THEN noticed the benefits! Downloads now write as fast or faster than the internet bandwidth.  Games like GTA V (or anything, truth be told) have full draw, INCREASED detail, coloring, speed, frames/smoothness and overall performance! It is clear-cut with this drive! There is ZERO performance hits that I noticed with this - only performance increases and a CONSISTENT performance throughout all testing! Photoshop loads a lot quicker. Vegas Pro loads quicker

 The system tested, took 12 seconds to boot Windows 10 counting from the time I pressed the power button. I have tested several SSDs, and that is the fastest the system will boot. I have noticed that any drive with read speeds of 1800 MB/s or better will accomplish the task.  The SK hynix P31 500GB surpassed the advertised write speeds of 3100 MB/s reaching 3183

  I dropped a star since the software available was pretty much useless and many similar drives provide hardware encryption.  SK hynix P31 is a fast SSD and a good price point and fares even better if you could get one when discounted. If you do not need that much speed (most of us don't), you could get a less expensive SSD with even more capacity.

 I have noticed that any drive with read speeds of 1800 MB/s or better will accomplish the task.  The SK hynix P31 500GB surpassed the advertised write speeds of 3100 MB/s reaching 3183.53 MB/s. It felt short on advertised read speed of 3500 MB/s reaching just 3440

91 MB/s.  On real word test it managed to reach 2787 MB/s write speed and 2209 MB/s read speed. I transferred 70 GB of mixed data from another SSD with 3500 MB/s read speed. If you don't write that much data , filing up the SSD SLC cache, then the P31 will run a lot faster

 These days I operate my own photographic and design studio and have an HP graphics workstation that is substantially more sophisticated than most typical PC’s. My language is performance, not benchmark tests under ideal conditions or what manufacturers put on their spec sheets. The company who makes workstations like mine has installed Hynix memory for a very long time in their products, it’s what I buy when I upgrade memory. Due to the heavy use my systems get I was shopping for 1TB SSD’s and did a lot of research

 When I plugged my new Hynix into the slot and powered up my computer it was absolutely flawless, every app, every file, every preference, ever login, they were all exactly when they used to be only now I had a much larger, faster and brand-new main drive.
