I've already downgraded my CPU and had no other cheaper choice for the Mobo that I had to stoop so low to get the GT 710. But it was also the cheapest graphics card I could get at that moment and I am planning to upgrade the GPU in a few years.
Lian Li tu150 w/ phanteks drive cages (sff server). It's not much but it's small yet beefy with 30TB of storage.
But I like it. Specs: 3900x, ASRock b550 phantom gaming itx, 64GB RAM, 3x10TB drives, 1x1TB sata ssd, 1x1TB nvme ssd, Corsair sf600 gold power supply, Dark Rock tf cooler, gt 710, and phanteks drive cages. I really wanted a small form factor server since my gaming rig is massive and all on water (no room for the drives due to radiators).

AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT with 8 lanes on PCIe 3.0 and without Resizeable BAR - Dream or nightmare for upgraders? | igor´sLAB
Upgraded from £50 nvidia gt 710 which I used alongside an (impossible to obtain) 5900x. The 710 barely powered JavaScript games which is about all I’ve managed to use it for to date. It was “jumpy” on low settings and impossible to use on anything beyond low settings. Way too laggy.

New to Building computers and need help knowing if everything would be compatible
You don't have to buy the GeForce GT 710. * The G5900 CPU comes with a cooler. You don't need to buy the Arctic Alpine 12 LP. * The motherboard you picked does not have wifi.
Games that you can still play with NVIDIA GT 710 - TechnoSports
So, the GT 710 GDDR5 is still one of the best entry-level graphics card, better than any AMD graphics card or so..

Meet my Sapphire R9 270X - I baked it in an oven 7 times in the last 2 years to keep it going
(get it super hot). It worked fine for several months the first time, then a few less after the 2nd wash+heat, did this a lot of times but then it started crashing on load (would work fine while not playing any games). I washed+heated it 5+ times in these ~2 years, now i just gave up on it and got a GT 710 as a temporary Card :c.

Why does AMD not put a tiny GPU core in the IO chiplet?
If you had side by side a CPU with and without graphics, and the price difference was the same as a basic dedicated GPU such as Gt 710 or 1030, would you still be interested in the CPU with built in graphics? And for chipset it's even worse, are they doing to offer motherboards with and without graphics? For desktops at least I think AMD decision is the right one, just get a dedicated GPU for graphics, you can choose exactly what you want.

Ophion 7l test build with 10700kf, fast ram, and low profile MSI 1650 GPU (dual slot in "single," slot case)
I'm currently running this same rig but with my gt 710, 2gb card, in there while I pack the other one up for a return. Much much more silent this way. Pretty awesome little silent workstation. Wish it could pull off a faster refresh rate though.
