 Just nice lock down fit no blisters. No hot spots just bring been a joy to run in, and my final positive is just the versatility of this shoe. You can use this for all sorts of different distances, all sorts of different speeds, as i said earlier on, it really is what i call a daily shoe, but it can just have that little turn of magic where you want to get out there and say right. I'Ve got a speed session 200, some k reps now or some mile reps

 Quite comfortably and new balance have put their fuel cell their premium foam into this midsole. Here the same that you see in the rc elite, their flagship model, no carbon footplate in this shoe, as you can see, is not uh stiff, like the rc eliters. This is very much a road shoe. Yes, as always, we have taken this onto some light trails, but very much at home on the road

 I'Ve really got very different shoes completely redesigned, as i said, different upper different midsole different outsole two shoes that i've really enjoyed testing from new balance. We'Ve got the hoka bondi x, coming in very soon. Look how ah super stiff. This is with a carbon plate in it compared to the rebel so yeah

THIS SHOE IS ALMOST PERFECT! New Balance Rebel V2 HONEST REVIEW!

 Since then i haven't any problems um with the fit as it is. I don't mind the fit of the shoe too much, but there's definitely skype to go half size up uh around the rest of the shoe in the mid foot and the heel you get a nice solid, lock down fit no problems on any of those fronts. So i've done a 75k of running in the rebel 2 and it's a shoe, i'm still not 100 sure where i stand on it really threw me from the start. You know coming into the rebel shoe with this big stack of you know: nice springy foam

 This is now kind of a mesh with a separate tongue um, and it's got this kind of offset lace design. This lovely black line that comes into the middle there um and then it's got a decent amount of padding around the heel. Here, i have to say uh for a shoe that weighs 200 grams. This is really quite plush around the cushion here, there's a good amount of cushion, which does kind of point to the fact that this is a shoe

 My uk size 9 weighs 204 grams, which is 7 ounces kind of on the nose. I weighed it a few times it kind of hovered between kind of 200 grams and 204 grams. Whichever of those it is, that's a very light shoe for considering how much foam it's got here. Uh, it costs 120 pounds in the uk or 130 dollars in the us, and it has a six millimeter drop from heel to toe it comes to design

 The kind of black sections here are harder wearing so kind of key impact zones. Heel strikers like myself here or maybe around for your toe off at the front there um but yeah, they look quite durable to me. They'Ve come up and they've actually done a decent job of gripping in a good range of conditions. For me, during my run testing so yeah within your outer's range, it obviously comes in as a carbon plate free fast trainer, versatile trainer, as opposed to things like the tc, which are much more expensive

New Balance FuelCell Rebel v2 Review: One of the best daily trainers?

 Yeah this, this that's probably good yeah. This feels really great. The heel counter is about perfect in it just the open airiness of this mesh. It'S like like this is a screen door like your foot is, is gon na be able to be nice and cool on this shoe the one weird thing about this upper is the tongue

 New balance does say that this is their most bounciest responsive, type fuel cell iteration. Yet the other thing they did is they dial back? If you can see it has like a wing off to the side here, and you can see the exaggerated geometry, if i hold it up here, it kind of swoops out on the side they kind of tame that down a little bit, but it still has what's Good about that and what that did was, as you land went through your stride, it rolled you off your toe a little more easily, so you get that fast feel calming it down, bringing it in putting it on the softer foam. It just really creates a phenomenal feeling underfoot robert you're ready to weigh it. Aren'T you yeah, i mean i just the scale sitting there

New Balance FuelCell Rebel v2 | FULL REVIEW | Best Daily Trainer of 2021?

 After just 180 miles, the mesh on the inside of my left foot started to split, noticeably decreasing the comfort of the shoes and making them pretty much unusable. Really disappointing for a $130 shoe.

This was, at first, a great shoe but the upper was not well made and began to have issues almost immediately. The mesh that made up the lower half of the upper clearly was not up to New Balance's usual standards (I almost always get 300+ miles out of NB shoes). After just 180 miles, the mesh on the inside of my left foot started to split, noticeably decreasing the comfort of the shoes and making them pretty much unusable. Really disappointing for a $130 shoe

Ideally, I would recommended a rotation of plated and non-plated shoes if you are taking running seriously, ideally the Rebel V2 and the Endorphin Speeds being the most complimentary pair.

As for the prices, 12.12 is a good time to consider! But NB Singapore is having a very good discount on the Rebel V2s. As for where to try them on, you can Google where to find the brand shops; the only trouble I might forsee is finding the Saucony Endorphin Speeds.

I am looking for a running/walking shoe with a bit of height and a low tongue. I find that the tongue on most sneakers is too high for me, so it’s been a challenge searching for the right shoe. I like going on light runs around the city, and it’d be nice if the shoes were comfortable for walking as well. There has been a similar post, but it’s an older post and I’d really appreciate some more suggestions!

Shoes with Low Tongue

While these shoes are very soft and bouncy, my size 13 were too small on the lateral aspect of the toe box. I have numerous pairs of New Balance shoes and size 13 normally fits me great. Would advise stepping up a shoe size when purchasing this pair.

 Then my final like is the grip and the stability that this shoe gives you especially when cornering the puma grip on the bottom here is just absolutely fantastic as a winter shoe here in the UK autumn winter when the ground is going to be wet quite a lot for a lot of people in the northern hemisphere at the moment just gives you a really good amount of confidence when you're going into like a sharp corner or something really nice stable ride for all weather conditions. Now coming on to my dislikes well it's difficult because I've just been praising the puma grip on the bottom and I do love it I'm not taking away from that but with that amount of rubber there you do lose a bit of feedback from the road it is a bit of a muted ride compared to something like the Endorphin 3 but I'm really sort of nitpicking here because I do love the grip that that brings in but there is a cost to that and that is that muted ride. Then finally my second dislike it's just a little bit on the heavy side again against maybe the class leader in this one the Soconi Endorphin Speed 3 it's just a little bit heavy that's all coming from this puma outsole grip so really all I can say here is if you want to go out in all weather conditions or a shoe to train through the winter it's fantastic but with that grip comes a few little negatives. Right let's bring all of that together for a conclusion and who is this shoe for most importantly I think this shoe really is for someone that wants a daily trainer that they want to be able to get out have some fun in if you're on the fence about having a plate in your shoe this would be a really good entry into that market not every likes plates but with this one it's not super stiff it shouldn't be taxing your legs anymore so I'd really recommend it it's going to be good at all distances your 5k's your 10k's your half marathons your marathon training long runs I'd happily run a marathon this shoe if you don't go all out on spend sort of 200 250 pounds on these super shoes this will have you covered at a much cheaper budget for me is it going for rotation definitely I've really loved running in a shoe it's been a real surprise I haven't run in too many puma shoes so far but this one has just over exceeded my expectations if you want to check out my thoughts on the Soconi Endorphin Speed 3 we'll link to that video down below we've got a comparison video between the two and see which one comes out on top so that's it guys I hope you found the video useful please stay tuned for loads more running reviews and all sorts of little running topics we'll be here covering on the extra mile go check out the other videos and I will see you out on the roads or the trails very very soon keep on getting done guys and we'll see you in the next one

Version one in this shoe people were getting some heel slip issues at the back but they've got a lot more padding here at the back now on the heel those have gone completely really nice lockdown fit no slipping no ankle rubbing or anything like that

My most surprising shoe of 2022! Puma Deviate Nitro 2 Honest Review .. best plated training shoe??

 But it doesn't have that super soft cushioned feel in the forefoot, like I've gotten this year from the On Cloud Monster and from the A6 Nova Blast 3. But it does feel consistently cushioned throughout. It's not super firm, it's not super soft, it sits kind of in the middle. But you do get a little bit more of a bounce from the Nitro Elite midsole introduction where you have the dual density bottom and top

 It's built to be kind of that workhorse trainer, long run shoe, maybe a little bit of temple work. It's got a full length carbon fiber plate, which does give it a lot of longitudinal bending stiffness. It's pretty stiff from front to back, does not have a lot of flex, which means that the shoe for you has to line up well with where your rockers are in your foot, making sure that that forefoot rocker in the Apex feels good as you're running through. For me, it felt really smooth and really good

So you can see this colored foam through the midsole, that's the Nitro Elite

 So again, this is going to be one of those shoes that is going to, it's really going to matter where, how your mechanics are, your foot type, and seeing if that sort of rocker fits you well because it does operate off of that because of how stiff it is. In terms of fit, they did revamp the upper a bit, a little bit snugger overall through the foot, which is consistent with the previous version, but it does accommodate a little bit more. They have reinforcements through their power tape that they use to just make sure that they're structuring the upper well. But it's a good shoe that we're excited to get more miles on and we'll have more details about the exact construction of the midsole in our full review

First Look at the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 | Sub 2

 The shoe remains with the plate in it, the carbon infused power plate or whatever it's called. That still remains in the shoe which is good. It's again there a little bit of stability but also gives you that nice pop off the foot with the Nitro Elite Foam. Power run I was going to say, Puma Crip Outsole which is a beast and what else, 6mm drop, 130 quip you can get 10% off at startfitness

 It's that comfortable and it feels pretty quick. So yeah, I think that's the sort of best way to end the video. I've been running along here at nine minute miles nice and easy. This felt great

I weigh I think about 10 ounces from memory from my UK, nine and a half. So I've been using the shoe as a daily trainer, rightly or wrongly that's where it's fitting in for me

 If you look at that version, that was one of the big complaints with that shoe, was that a lot of people had their heels and their Achilles rubbing, because there was no padding at the back of that, and on here, they fixed it. We've got Puma Grip on the outsole, which is just awesome, lasts forever, as you can see on here. Fit's true to size, UK 9.5, it's just under 10 ounces, 140 pounds, but you can get 10% off of that, like I mentioned, using the code over at Start Fitness for all your runs

 It's not a carbon plate like in the other shoes, but if you look, it's rigid, but it's not overly rigid, so think about your speed, it's a very similar setup. We've got a new upper, also got good news in the heel, they've added a load of padding and foam.
