 The overlays on the upper are a hard plastic, as is the knit, and this irritates toenails on longer runs. I would not recommend these.

Narrow toe box

If it continued to be available, I'd even spend the extra $50 on it (ideally it would just be the same price and be the v2 though). Something about that weight reduction bringing it into the sub 7oz range combined with the lockdown/breathability of the upper really make this shoe feel a lot faster. Really somewhere in the .7oz weight reduction range doesn't seem like that much, but it is definitely noticed

 The rearfoot rubber placement of the outsole has also been changed to a design of two vertical rubber strips similar to the nike vapor fly next percent. The problem is that these rubber strips don't wrap up around the edges of the midsole, so the overhanging foam gets scuffed by the ground. The upper of the rc elite v2 is not your typical snug racing foot upper, it's accommodating roomy and it fits more like a training shoe than a racing shoe, which makes it a lot more comfortable. Over long distances, the upper mesh has been changed to a stretchy knitted material, which is not as furry as on the first version, and this leads to better breathability, because it's thinner - and there are now big holes on top of the toe box to let the air In this knitted, material is also thinner than other knitted uppers, so it doesn't absorb much liquid and it won't increase the weight of the shoe during races

 Tab are lightly padded and i experienced excellent foot lock down with no heel slippage, although i did have to use a runner's knot to get a good foot lock down. The fit is true to size, with the length being a little bit shorter than the average running shoe. I thought about going down a half size, but i'm glad i didn't, because the forefoot would have been too roomy version. Two is a big improvement over the rc elite v1

 So can the new revamped new balance flagship racer, now compete with the fastest super shoes, and how does it compare to the first version when i tried it on for the first time, i could immediately feel the increase in cushioning it felt a lot plusher and squishier Underfoot my first run was a 17 kilometer fart leg and the most striking thing was how much smoother the rc elite v2 felt than the first version. The dynaride outsole on the first version made the forefoot feel a bit bumpy because of the small spikes, but with a smooth sheet of blown rubber transitions feel much better. The steeper carbon fiber plates also felt more prominent than in the first version that first run felt really effortless, bouncy and exciting. The midsole of the rc elite v2 is now even softer and more cushioned than version one, and it still has the softest ride of all the super shoes i really enjoy it on long distance runs because the cushioning feels bottomless and it doesn't feel like my foot - Is sinking down into the foam too much even at slower speeds above 5 minutes 30 per kilometer? The midsole feels cushioned stable and lively

Alright, this is a review on my New Balance Minimus shoe. The shoes of a great shoe. I Wanted something that is pretty much minimis or minimalist type of shoe. something that's all black, you know, classic look and you know this is what I got and so like I've had

 Doesn't really stop wind or water from going through, but it is a comfortable shoe besides that for like working out and whatnot. But I wanted to talk about the vibra under sole on this and how it's been wearing. so I've had these for about a year, pretty much wear them every single day, work out in them and everything and you can see that they're starting to wear down a little bit and like my last pair they wore out and they actually wore them until it got a whole like on the side where I wear I walk at it the shoe holds up but the sole will eventually wear down if you wear these everyday. I'm guessing it lasts about a year before it's time to get a new pair which is okay and it does his job

New Balance Minimus 1 YEAR REVIEW

 You can get these in extended widths as well. though the New Balance Minimus forties are some of the most comfortable training shoes on the market right now. Initially I thought I wasn't gonna be able to lift in them because of the amount of insult and midsole cushioning, but I was able to PR my snatch at 225 pounds. First time ever

 They're just an all-around good watch you when I picked them over Met Cons or Nanos for a serious competition shoe, probably not. Those are my tried-and-true favorites, but when it comes down to everyday training and just a comfortable shoe to wear around, the New Balance Minimus forties are probably the best that you're going to get and I think this is what Nike was going for with the Metcon. DSX The Minimus Forties retail for one hundred and forty dollars, which puts them in line with all of the other good training shoes on the market. If you were looking for something a little bit different, a little bit more comfortable, something that you'd actually be able to and want to run in, the New Balance Minimus forties are worthy of your attention
