An enormous range of fit adjustments and a 350-pound weight capacity also means that it should work for most users. It comes equipped with a WiFi and Bluetooth-enabled 21.5-inch swiveling HD touchscreen that can be oriented however you like for on and off-the-bike workouts using the OpenFit app. OpenFit has a good selection of studio-style cycling workouts with all the ride types, lengths, and music genres to choose from, all of which are based on heart rate zones using the included Polar heart rate armband. The app also has a huge selection of off-bike workouts ranging from strength training and pilates to yoga and meditation, and the Plus version we tested comes with a set of 6 dumbells &#40;you choose between light, medium, and heavy&#41;, a kettlebell, a bike mat, exercise mat, foam roller, and a resistance band so you can follow along and build you own little home gym. The MYX II Plus also comes with plenty of other useful features, and delivery and assembly are included in the price, adding to its impressive value.
While the MYX II Plus is a quality bike, the friction resistance does not have any preset levels and seems a little vague compared to other models. Of course, the app membership cost is not insignificant, and it's right up there with the most expensive competitor's apps. MYXfitness recommends download speeds of at least 3Mbps for uninterrupted streaming. A helpful internet speed test feature in the MYX + Openfit Settings menu lets you check your connection.

MYX II Review

We did end up having to download two apps to our phone (Openfit and Polar), which is fine because it gives you the whole experience. The Openfit app syncs with the streaming service on the bike so you can see all your stats in one place, which is a plus. There’s a lot to do on the app, like log weight, track your food, schedule workouts, see what workouts are live, and find some healthy recipes.

 This definitely came in handy and made the whole process go that much faster. The company recommends clearing out a space that will accommodate the bike mat, which is about 4 x 6 feet.

 Okay, so the flux at $750, that is a pretty good entry level direct drive trainer. That is fully compatible with Zwift and trainer road or any other app that support ANT plus FEC or smart Bluetooth connectivity. So if you're looking to get into the direct drive trainer at $750, that is pretty good price. The only thing about this trainer is the legs, I cannot fold the legs for storage or if you want to move around, it's going to be a little bit hard to do that with this trainer

 Now in ERG mode, the same thing, it was within range and it was quick to respond. So here's a workout that I did, a 10 minute interval workout. And as you see, all three 10 minute intervals were within target, were just within about one to two watts from my P1 pedal or Power2Max. And the other thing I noticed with the flux, it was very quick to respond in ERG mode to interval changes

 And as you see, the trainer was responding very, very fast. Now on the rest intervals, it had a hard time bringing me down to my target watt and I had that target watt set pretty low, below 100 watts just to see if the trainer can get me there. The hard time bringing me below 150 watts, even though I was on the smaller ring. But that is the same thing they had with the previous flux

 So then the first thing you'll notice is the Flux 2 does have the support more power up to 2000 watts, does have a little bit of a better accuracy. Slope is a lot better, 15% compared to 10% with the Flux S. The flywheel is a little bit heavier and it does come with a 142 and 148 millimeter adapters and the overall weight is a little bit heavier just because of the flywheel weight. The price of the Flux 2 is $900, so you're talking about $150 saving when getting into the Flux S
