It comes equipped with a WiFi and Bluetooth-enabled 21.5-inch swiveling HD touchscreen that can be oriented however you like for on and off-the-bike workouts using the OpenFit app. OpenFit has a good selection of studio-style cycling workouts with all the ride types, lengths, and music genres to choose from, all of which are based on heart rate zones using the included Polar heart rate armband. The app also has a huge selection of off-bike workouts ranging from strength training and pilates to yoga and meditation, and the Plus version we tested comes with a set of 6 dumbells &#40;you choose between light, medium, and heavy&#41;, a kettlebell, a bike mat, exercise mat, foam roller, and a resistance band so you can follow along and build you own little home gym. The MYX II Plus also comes with plenty of other useful features, and delivery and assembly are included in the price, adding to its impressive value.

I connected the MYX II to my 5GHz Wi-Fi network and have never experienced any buffering or lag when streaming classes, even live workouts. MYXfitness recommends download speeds of at least 3Mbps for uninterrupted streaming. A helpful internet speed test feature in the MYX + Openfit Settings menu lets you check your connection. 

The light kit includes 3-, 6-, and 9-pound dumbbells and a 15-pound kettlebell; the medium kit includes 6-, 9-, and 12-pound dumbbells and a 20-pound kettlebell; and the heavy kit includes 9-,12-, and 15-pound dumbbells and a 25-pound kettlebell. All of the weights have a gray rubber coating on them, so they look nice and are easier on your floors than traditional metal weights.

MYX II Review

We did end up having to download two apps to our phone (Openfit and Polar), which is fine because it gives you the whole experience. The Openfit app syncs with the streaming service on the bike so you can see all your stats in one place, which is a plus. There’s a lot to do on the app, like log weight, track your food, schedule workouts, see what workouts are live, and find some healthy recipes.

 This definitely came in handy and made the whole process go that much faster. The company recommends clearing out a space that will accommodate the bike mat, which is about 4 x 6 feet.

 So i love that another nice feature that i love is the background of all of the videos. As you can see, some of them are blue, some are just crisp and clear, but they have a really like zen and welcoming feel as opposed to like a studio or something that's really intense. Looking for a simple bike trainer to get you up on your bike in the winter without the hassle and entire paycheck? The Saris Fluid 2 will do exactly that. It's a straightforward trainer that's super easy to set up and get rolling. We tested it with the speed or cadence sensor &#40;it can be purchased with or without&#41; that easily pairs with Zwift, Rouvy, and all the other major training apps, so you're not flying blind. And it's not just any old tire drive trainer. It actually feels like you're out on the road. The former company CycleOps, now owned and rebranded by Saris, has earned its excellent reputation for unmatched road feel in its fluid resistance trainers, and that's on show with the Fluid 2. It follows a basic progressive resistance curve but has the perfect responsiveness, inertia, and rollout/spin-down to mimic the road. It's also one of the lightest bike trainers on the market, making it easy to move around, store, and take out on road trips or warm up before races. 
This trainer suffers from the same limitations as other tire drive trainers. While it's great compared to the models in its class, it still can't match the road feel, smart data, and power measurement accuracy of direct drive trainers. And like most tire drive models, it doesn't have control, so your Zwifting won't be quite as interactive as it could be. But hey, the price is right.  I can't register the warranty without it.  I've called Saris many times (customer support is only available 10-3 M-F). I am placed in queue while a recorded message tells me over and over how important my call is to them (ha!), and I am automatically disconnected after ten minutes. I have tried emailing customer support but again, NO REPLY

  But in order to register the warranty, I need to enter a "Date Code", which is supposed to be printed on the box. It is nowhere to be found, on or in the box. I can't register the warranty without it.  I've called Saris many times (customer support is only available 10-3 M-F)

  Update. It took a few weeks to speak with Saris, but it sounds like it was bad bearing. They have sent out a replacement unit. Not happy with the original quality, but happy with customer service
