I am currently comparing between the Helix Midnight or Twilight, the DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid and the Saatva Classic. I am leaning towards a luxury firm feel and most definitely a hybrid, I don't trust full memory foam or latex anymore. Can anyone offer any insight?

She uses some really worn down mattress that doesn't even seem like it's 6" and it's an innerspring creeky mess, and I've been using some cooling gel ver of the Zinus Green Tea mattress. She wants something that she's used to but isn't against trying memory foam stuff, and I made the switch to the Zinus about 2 years ago because of some pain and found that even the Zinus mattresses give me great pain relief.

I really like the tempurpedic luxe breeze but my husband doesn’t love the price and I’ve read some mixed reviews about their durability. Can anyone recommend any mattresses that might have a similar feel? I like the soft version. Or should I just pull the trigger… we’ve also considered just adding a tempurpedic topper to another bed but not sure what one would produce a similar feel. Another site said the loom & leaf is similar to the Lux breeze but they only have firm options it seems like, not sure how that compares to the soft tempur

In fact, I don't think I've ever slept better. Granted, I've only been sleeping on it for a few days, but GD, can't remember the last time I've slept so well. The Loom & Leaf sleeps very hot so I don't think that would be a good option for you. A latex hybrid is going to sleep much cooler since latex has an open cell structure which breathes to allow air circulation. You should try to check out a latex hybrid to see if you like the feel and what firmness level you prefer, but there are some better choices in latex hybrid than the Nest model which also uses some PU foam. I'd suggest looking into Sleep EZ, Arizona Premium Mattress, or Flexus Comfort for better options in latex hybrids at very reasonable prices

This is an update of a previous review. I have experience with memory foam mattresses and generally knew what to expect, but it seems from the most recent negative reviews that Zinus is having a quality control issue. I'm not sensitive to smells, but the odor has honestly been overwhelming, enough that I've been leaving windows open in 15 degree weather (there goes my cost savings). Many negative reviews agree, others don't mention it at all, so something is inconsistent

They say this mattress can handle up to 300 lbs, but I've decided to return it and go for something designed specifically for larger people.

It's not really a windfall, as while the unexpanded mattress could be used, it's still big and bulky and heavy, so we ended up having disposal company haul it away. Tried donating it, but no takers.
