 I Want to be clear that I'm not feeling in any way unstable here though. and I also want to point out that relative to most all foam mattresses again, particularly the ones that contain a lot of memory foam, this is actually less dip than we're accustomed to seeing. And you particularly notice this when I lay down on the edge of the mattress and I always get my shoulder blade right on the edge to be consistent. And what I can tell you is that I feel relatively stable here

 And then the third thing they've done is in that same top layer, they've used gel swirls, which again, gel is a conductor so it can help pull that heat away from your body a little bit. and I Guess the last point I would make relative to a traditional memory foam mattress is that this mattress doesn't conform to your body quite as closely as certainly as most memory foam mattresses that have four and a half inches of memory foam would and that has to do with this this quilting layer on the top which which by definition due to its undulations introduce greater points of contact between your body and the air which allows heat to more efficiently escape your body. So all think all those things being factored in this mattress in general if not going to sleep as hot as many other memory foam mattresses like it. Another concern for some people is the degree of natural materials in the mattress or maybe just the lack of harmful chemicals

 In terms of the cost, the current price of a luminous mattress in a queen-size is 1099, and on top of that, you're going to pay a $99 delivery charge, and you also have the option of adding a matching foundation or what some people might call a box spring although there aren't any springs in it for an additional two hundred and fifty dollars. And in terms of what you're getting for that, you're getting what's billed as a twelve inch mattress, but it's actually more like a 13 inch mattress when you consider the additional inch of loft that the company really doesn't give itself credit for. And at the top of this mattress, you're getting four to four and a half inches of what we would consider to be premium comfort and pressure relieving interior. A latex hybrid is going to sleep much cooler since latex has an open cell structure which breathes to allow air circulation. You should try to check out a latex hybrid to see if you like the feel and what firmness level you prefer, but there are some better choices in latex hybrid than the Nest model which also uses some PU foam. I'd suggest looking into Sleep EZ, Arizona Premium Mattress, or Flexus Comfort for better options in latex hybrids at very reasonable prices

I run very hot when sleeping, so much so that I sometimes turn on the AC even when it's freezing out in February. My partner is an average sized back, side and stomach sleeper and he rolls around quite a bit while asleep.

I'm considering buying either the Saatva Loom and Leaf or Nest Latex Hybrid. Are these the right choices for me? Anything else I should consider? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much.

Don't bother with T&N Mint, it'd probably be too soft for you and won't last you long enough, nor provide enough support. Instead of signature or aurora you'd probably be better of with Titan/Titan Luxe.

I'm moving and need to buy something new. The ex is keeping a "beautyrest recharge signature select" which is pretty hard, I often wake up with sore shoulders, hips, or both.

I'm about 260#, 6' tall, generally a side sleeper. I tend to sleep on the warm side, so I've been avoiding memory foam in general - is this still a thing that's an issue? I've been seeing that a hybrid is probably best for my weight and side sleeping. 

My budget is the problem here. Ideally I'd be doing this for under 800; I can make maybe 12-1300 work but I'm moving so money is tight, I'd rather not do credit if I can avoid it. Does anyone have experience with the financing things that seem to pop up on all the direct mattress sale sites? 

I've been looking at reviews, this subreddit, sleeplikethedead, and everywhere else I can look and frankly I'm overwhelmed. I've got a notion that these might work: helix, t&amp;n mint, Brooklyn bedding aurora (unclear if this is much better than a signature) and stumptown (made local, but few reviews outside of their site).

Anyone have any ideas/advice/directions to look or avoid? Would appreciate anything. Thank you.

I would rule out the Casper, Purple, Nectar and Helix on durability issues. They're fine for folks under 200lbs - 225lbs or so -- but they don't use premium materials and thus will have a shorter lifespan with daily usage by someone over that. Given that you're not a side sleeper, I would say if you're going for the Titan you should go for the Titan original (Titan Firm) rather than the Titan Luxe. Back and stomach sleepers both need fairly firm mattresses (back sleepers less so, but stomach sleepers especially)

For reference, I am 18, female, 5' 7", and about 250 lb, I primary fall asleep on either my stomach or back and mostly wake up on my back, I sleep pretty neutral as long as I have a fan, but will occasionally run hot (plan to mitigate this with a cooling pad if it becomes an issue), and as of right now I sleep on an air mattress, previously slept on a waterbed, but both cause me to have pretty bad back pain.

 At first I was going to get one of the cheaper Zinus mattresses, but after reading the horror stories, I decided a fiberglass hellstorm was not the vibe I wanted to set in my brand new house, so I started looking at the Casper Element. I decided that I would rather do the original Casper, so now I am deciding between the Original Casper, Titan Luxe, Purple (maybe? Is purple any good?), Nectar, or maybe one of the Helix mattresses. Please help me decide on a mattress

 Now, I've tried out a number of mattresses that are built for sleepers who are plus sized. And generally, I find that the mattresses are too firm for my body type and weight. However, the Brooklyn Titan Luxe was not like that at all. I find myself very comfortable on this mattress
