Even if it was only **$75** mouse, it was super cool. **16k dpi**, cool design. I liked it a lot.

It's amazing how that small minor adjustment/asymmetrical curve on the right side of the mouse made a HUGE difference vs mice like the UL/Viper mini when it comes to comfort and grip. The bottomline is, if you do grip the mouse like me, you probably will have a smooth transition to this mouse.

Dunno why they just don't sell replacements or install this grip differently so that it can be replaced. Sigh.

The hump isnt the best but could do. It's overall a better WMO. -Logitech Mx500(mx518): the hump is sweet, the rest is bad, this is how an ergonomic hump can feel better than a symmetrical one, gpw hump feels great but the mx500 feels a bit more natural. Its not perfect though

It's rare that I write any reviews but this is definitely mouse that is worth it. I think Razer did a really good job here. The ergonomics and comfort of the basilisk as always been a plus to me. It's a decent sized mouse but even with my hands not being big I still find it very comfortable

When zowie started making smaller mouses i shifted to that, but now that razer came out with the viper and viper mini I'm lovin it. I also purchased the deathadder v2 due to the newer sensor, love it, but now im more shifting to smaller size mouses.

I find it's just a bit to small for my hands, so if you have large hands keep that in mind. Otherwise it's a wonderful mouse.

I had been reluctantly using a G502 Proteus Core for the last couple of years, because I couldn't find anything else to replace my G500 with when it died. I was never really happy with the G502 though, so when I heard they were bringing back the MX518, but with a modern sensor, I jumped on it. It was a day one order for me. The ergonomics are more suitable for medium to large hands, its definitely a THICC mouse and 100 grams isn't exactly the ideal for FPS but I don't mind it at all since the shape makes up for that. I quickly stopped using it. I see it now as a mouse you would get for the office because you've already got a Basilisk V2/Ultimate and enjoy the shape.

This mouse is a bit too light for my preferences. I also dislike the build quality of the scroll wheel; it feels flimsy and is too easy to over scroll. I know that may sound ridiculous, but I like my scroll wheels to be a bit a weightier and require more force to move between each discrete position. This just ends up feeling imprecise to me—not that the scroll wheel is actually giving imprecise readings

For example Anno 1800 needs to scroll wheel button. The texture of the scroll wheel is also way too grippy, it just irritates the skin of your middle finger after prolonged use. ) The new mouse is lighter(not in a good way), has a shorter, noticeably thinner wire, lacks infinite scroll and the material is vastly inferior. Leaving off the 3D 'dimples' must've saved a penny because now the mouse looks, ordinarily plain, like most mice. It's still a long way off from your desired 120g but it's a big boy for today's standards.
