Logitech G305 vs Razer Naga X

However, I recently had to switch to the Razer Naga X and you guys really gave me no choice. The G600 is very outdated at this point as it was released 9 years ago. The G600 is nearly 140 grams in weight, which is the heaviest mouse I've ever had and is very uncomfortable during long sessions. A recent issue I've found, and why I'm writing this review to begin with, is at some point or perhaps by my luck of the draw, I ended up with a Naga made in Taiwan. As far as I know, all my previous Naga had been made in China. As for the scrollwheel now (how its SUPPOSED to feel), the steps feel soft, and its not as snappy as other mice. The tactility is now way down and it makes virtually no noise.

While it's been billed at as an egg shaped mouse, the Orochi is distinct that it chooses a shorter length and distinct asymmetrical curves. The left side of the mouse offers a countered groove to place your thumb which gives better control while holding the mouse. This mean's its not perfectly ambi but for right handed users I think that's a plus. The design looks minimal and it's just a great looking mouse in even its stock form

While the marketing behind the mouse has made it unclear if this mouse is intended for laptop gaming due to its replaceable battery and small size, I'm happy to report that it functions quite well right out the box and should meet the standards of even the most hardcore gamers. I got my white copy of the Orochi V2 in today and have gamed with it for a few hours.

The mouse feels responsive, the buttons feel good, and the cable has zero resistance. The nuberpad buttons are all at slightly different angles, so it's easy to feel the buttons you want to press. I'm not enough of a mouse expert to say much more than that.

**Battery life:** Not based on specs, but rather my impression based on regular use. Don’t read too much into this one.

Overall, amazing, my only issue is the size. My ring finger grips the lowest part on the right side, and my pinky somewhat drags along the mousepad. Not terrible, but it happens.

Because the weight issue has been solved the only issue i still have is how wide it is. If razer ever releases a naga x that has the ring rest chopped off that will be my personal favorite mouse ever ([badly photoshopped picture here]([URL REMOVED] )

Everything you would expect to work well on the mouse, does, it's super high quality and I haven't run into any issues thus far after a few months of ownership. Main complaint is the battery life when using 2.4ghz mode feels short like maybe a week of use every day before it needs a recharge. Though if you switch to Bluetooth mode it will save battery life significantly, so I chalk this up to limits of current technology rather than a bad design

Prior to buying this mouse I was using a mouse I bought at Goodwill that was super old and didn't really offer good dpi settings, so this mouse was an extreme improvement in terms of allowing me to refine my movements much more and was a big help in aim. Of course this mouse won't magically improve your gameplay but it will smooth things out for you and be a good help. Recommend for someone looking for a gaming mouse for the first time.

The toggle button to adjust your dpi on the mouse is nice, and paired with Razor Synapse. You can easily control the speed of the mouse at which ever speed fits for whatever game you are playing. It glides really nice along my mousepad. Even more so than my FPS mouse, Logitech g502 hyperspeed
