Logitech G203 vs UtechSmart VENUS Pro

That said, I can't remember a time when a Logitech product disappointed on the tracking front. The G203 Lightsync's proprietary "gaming-grade" sensor tracks at up to 8,000dpi, and, like the Prodigy's, is accurate at up to 200 inches per second. That's in the same ballpark with most modern mice in its class but not groundbreaking.

Also, while the sensor on our unit is reasonably consistent, it's moderately inaccurate and undershoots the set CPI somewhat during slow cursor movements and significantly during faster movements. There's customization software that allows you to adjust a range of settings; however, it's only compatible with Windows and only allows you to have one custom profile at a time.

Due to its smaller size, it's best suited for a fingertip grip, no matter your hand size, though if you have smaller hands, you can also use it comfortably using a claw or palm grip.

It's a huge boost to my productivity. The mouse is similar in shape and feel to the G600. While it's quite a bit lighter, the grip and feel (which any MMO mouse will forever change the way you grip any mouse) didn't take me long at all to adjust, close to instant. There's the same "grip corner" for you to press your pinky finger against, your thumb sits between the first two sets of thumb buttons (1 thru 6), pointer and middle finger are resting on the left and right mouse buttons respective and it's comfortable to easily switch between clicking and scrolling, and there's also an indentation for your ring finger to rest on

It has a symmetrical, egg-shaped design suitable for left- and right-handed users, especially with a fingertip grip. Despite its low price point, it feels very well-built and solid.

But for me, the UtechSmart VENUS Pro wins my award for the "Best Ergonomic Wireless Productivity Mouse" of 2020.

Oh man, they really hit home with this mouse. I do love the shape, the excelent build quality, the weight , everything about it, except the feet (i am a bit of nitpicky here). I don't like the skates on this mouse, i don't know why exaclty , it gives me a feeling of scratching even if it doesn't do that. I repeat, i love this mouse and it's plugged right now in the pc

I need a mouse that has convenient and easy to use buttons in numbers sufficient to assign a button to every available movement. This does not evenly remotely apply to the UTechSmart. The number of buttons is sufficient but the placement is not suited to fast and accurate use. The thumb button locations would require months of training to get all the button locations coded into muscle memory

Just a cuck, if you don't uh the g203 prodigy it's twenty dollars and then a good paracord is gon na cost. You like twenty dollars as well and then so...

The weight tuning is pretty straight forward. You flip the mouse over, turn the little compartment, and then pop the tray out. I have to say, I'm a heavy mouse guy, but I still thought that having all the weights in was a little too much. On the other hand, removing all the weights made the mouse very, very light

I wish the back skate was larger and more in-line with the size of the front skate. Also the rounding on the skates could be better. If you're picky about mouse feet, this would be a good candidate for aftermarket skates.

This mouse is quite pleasantly sized. I use a kind of a broad claw grip and prefer it when the butt of the mouse rests in the palm of my hand, which this does comfortably while still leaving my fingers well positioned on the buttons. It's also remarkably comfortable, almost as if it was designed with my hand specifically in mind. Obviously your mileage may vary on this one but the at rest position for the third (ring) finger on my hand is well placed, with just the right bit of additional contour to aid in gripping the mouse when lifting it

The scroll wheel is very nice. you know you are going to actually scroll with it rather than your finger sliding over the wheel doing nothing. I have not gotten to game with it yet, but can imagine it will do great. If you are looking for a comfortable, well made mouse, this is the one for you!

I have small hands and fingertip-ish grip which is a reason I love the Logitech g203. Just don’t want to spend $120 on a wireless mouse :/

The Good: Good size that fits hand very comfortably with the nice textured finish Good quantity of buttons to program High precision with adjustable DPI to get mouse movements just right Multiple profiles for different tasks Better lighting options compared to prior versions profiles stored on mouse (limit 2) The Less Good: no additional weight compartment in wireless version (wired version has it) lighting options, while better, are still underwhelming lighting option when plugged in is not existent less pre-created macro/key options in software compared to earlier versions (can manually create for functionality, just lose the ease of it) The Bad nothing that would sway my purchase decision Summary: This is a great mouse for the price. It is very comfortable to use and ticks off all the quality items needed for a functional mouse for gaming or customization of buttons. The software is its greatest weakness, but not detrimental to the point where it has a functional impact (just the area they should focus more effort on). I back this up with this wireless mouse version being my third of this style/brand of mouse for my own use (2 wired, 1 wireless) plus my wife's use of both the wired and wireless version too

I didn't buy this for the fancy lights, I just needed a mouse that wasn't a cheap piece of trash. But if that's your style this is a good cheap option for you. The colors were neat at first, especially the sound reactive setting, but now it is just annoying. There is an option to turn the lights off completely on GHUB, but it still glows randomly when I am playing games

The buttons themselves are alright, they'll definitely do the job. The scroll wheel is good, though I wish it tilted like my G600 too. But as that's a hardware thing, I can accept that tradeoff for wireless connectivity. Clicks are not offensively loud like some mice, which I'm definitely grateful for as I'll be using this while traveling

There’s a DPI button underneath the main clicks which is a downside for me as I don’t like accidentally changing my DPI on my fly and would rather see it moved to the bottom side of the mouse.

I also hate that razor synapse runs all the time and requires internet, and I also hate snakes which is the entire theme of their mice for some reason. I ain't want no got dang snakes on my plane! Soo why in the world does the venus mmo mouse product information say you can reprogram the dpi buttons? Translation issues maybe? Dunno, I just know that this is not only misleading but also disappointing. And Why does this matter to me enough to drone on about it? well.
