For the ultimate lightweight experience without any cables to tie you down, the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT is the best wireless ultra-lightweight gaming mouse we've tested. While many of the lightest gaming mice have honeycomb cutouts in their shells to reduce their overall weight, this mouse has a solid plastic body. Impressively, it's still exceptionally lightweight and has a sturdier-feeling build quality than many other similar offerings.

I was never really happy with the G502 though, so when I heard they were bringing back the MX518, but with a modern sensor, I jumped on it. It was a day one order for me. Now that I have it I am very happy with it

It's amazing how that small minor adjustment/asymmetrical curve on the right side of the mouse made a HUGE difference vs mice like the UL/Viper mini when it comes to comfort and grip. The bottomline is, if you do grip the mouse like me, you probably will have a smooth transition to this mouse.

Shape

Perfect weight thanks to a rechargeable USB Type C Lithium AAA battery. May be one of the easiest “mods” for the Orochi V2. Should last about 60 hours per battery. (Came in 4 pack) (1 gram less than Ultimate Lithium AAA Nonrechargable)

Skates - Orochi V2 has rounded pure PTFE skates. Again, perfect out of the box. Superlight has huge, lower quality skates.

The ergonomics are more suitable for medium to large hands, its definitely a THICC mouse and 100 grams isn't exactly the ideal for FPS but I don't mind it at all since the shape makes up for that. I had no issues adjusting from the 89g G pro going to this. Honestly this is probably going to be my main mouse from now on till I find a better shape but that probably wont happen. Scroll Wheel

The **Scroll Wheel** feels weird. The texture is great, the increments are great, the click pressure is the best of any mouse I’ve felt as its ever so slightly harder to push down than the one in my Hati-S wired, but upon first impression like there is the tiniest piece of Styrofoam/ cheap plastic bag stuck in there when scrolling slowly. However, after scrolling for ten minutes I have now identified it as feeling and sounding like a very very easy to wind up happy meal toy from the 90s, which you had to wind up and then they’d start moving around on their wheels. At fast scrolling speeds this is not noticeable at all, and putting pressure on it to slightly reposition the wheel also does not have an effect on it

Pretty nice shape ergonomically, but too light

This mouse is a bit too light for my preferences. I also dislike the build quality of the scroll wheel; it feels flimsy and is too easy to over scroll. I know that may sound ridiculous, but I like my scroll wheels to be a bit a weightier and require more force to move between each discrete position. This just ends up feeling imprecise to me—not that the scroll wheel is actually giving imprecise readings

The hump isnt the best but could do. It's overall a better WMO. -Logitech Mx500(mx518): the hump is sweet, the rest is bad, this is how an ergonomic hump can feel better than a symmetrical one, gpw hump feels great but the mx500 feels a bit more natural. Its not perfect though

Yea I am currently using the G Pro X Superlight right now and I ordered a Vaxee ZYGEN NP-01S this morning. I think it is a good mouse, but it's just a little too big for my preference for gaming and the side buttons are pretty bad imo. Today actually marks 2 months that I stuck with this mouse. When zowie started making smaller mouses i shifted to that, but now that razer came out with the viper and viper mini I'm lovin it. I also purchased the deathadder v2 due to the newer sensor, love it, but now im more shifting to smaller size mouses.

Is it the same as the original? Not quite.

What's great about this mouse is that you don't need the software if you just want to use it with the default DPI and button settings. The default settings are fine for me so that's what I did. Other than the bloatware I highly recommend this mouse for gaming and you can turn the DPI down low enough for more precision work too. It's not quite the same as the original MX-518 but it is a suitable upgrade worthy of the name
