Really wanted to like this sound bar but ended up returning it.

Sorry Vizio, I really wanted to fall in love with this sound bar but I ended up returning it. The major issue for me was the EXTREME volume of the sub woofer. Even on the very lowest setting the woofer volume was overwhelming. I spent hours on the internet reading about this problem and a good number of people are reporting the same issue

Sound Quality

I think the sound on them is great but I’m having awful issues with getting the sound to work correctly. I have everything using eARC but if I switch the mode to Bluetooth to play music from my phone and then back to HDMI for my PS5 for example the PS5 sound won’t work at all. It will act like it’s connected and even switch the on screen volume indicator but no sound will come out until I either reset the TV, the sound bar or sometimes it needs both.

Sonos Beam 2 or LG SP9YA?

On Rtings, one of the best review platform, they have in depth reviews of the [SP9YA]([URL REMOVED] and the [Beam 2]([URL REMOVED] giving the LG a better score. In my experience with previous models, Sonos sounds a bit better out of the box, while the LG needs some tinkering in the menus, but once done it works wonders. There are some extra options for when it is plugged into a LG TV, which may interest you since you plan on buying one. I haven't tested that on my side since my TV is a Panasonic

Good features but quality concerns

Features are good, but soundbar freezes up every few weeks requiring a reboot and the sub failed and was repaired under warranty
