Sound Quality

Awesome sound but quality questionable.

We purchased this soundbar system a little over a year ago… The quality of Audio is Amazing… it sounds like a premium quality sound system but unfortunately we had this system in the living room with out 65 inch LG Oled TV that we barely use just because we have another LG 65 Nano tv in the room and suddenly out of nowhere the subwoofer stopped working. It died completely and please note that this system has been used maybe 10 times in 1 year. Now we are stranded with no warranty because its been over a year and stuck with a brand new subwoofer that doesnt work.

The other night I decided to watch a movie and noticed the sound was absolutely horrible. After some investigating I found that the soundbar and subwoofer were no longer paired. Here is a brief summary of the situation:

Great sound...but...

I wish there was at least an option to connect it with a cord. Even worse (in my opinion), the only way to use AirPlay is to have the TV on too. (Bluetooth is too spotty and you can't move around the house much if you're streaming Bluetooth from your phone.) If I had known about these issues I wouldn't have bought it

Do Vizio soundbars support changing the volume using Google Home?

I have v21 h8 and it is been very difficult to set up. Assistant can link via Bluetooth but then you cannot have other devices link to the soundbar. There is voice assistant aux in but sadly no ga gh product has 3.5 mm jack

Solid Dolby Atmos Sound Bar that is Simple To Use

The SN8YG is also Google Voice and Chromecast compatible. I'm not a Google user myself but the 'LG Wi-Fi Speaker' app for iOS or Android is where the SN8YG can be remotely controlled and where firmware updates are downloaded. This requires a Wi-Fi connection, although the app seems quite lackluster and poor in quality, considering it's 1.5 star review for iOS

Vizio Customer Service scores ZERO

After extensive research for soundbar/subwoofer ordered a Vizio. Pre-read quick guide prior to arrival. Got all & was baffled at remote being impossible to open, so after googling & still couldn’t open, called Vizio. Connection to wherever the call goes to was hardly audible, finally Rep suggested I use a small coin to pry the remote open, which I gently did, and the the ENTIRE remote fell apart with pieces flying everywhere, and her suggestion was then for me to just not use the remote
