Upgraded recently from a samsung nu6900 once I upgraded to the LG bx oled with dolby vision it's amazing. The blacks are truly black!!!! And not distracting like my nu6900 oh boy did that have a lot of blooming by the wide screen sides. The bx doesn't have any blooming and it blows the nu6900 out of the water!!!

Absolutely. I did the same exact thing basically and upgraded from a 50" 2016 Samsung KS8000 to a 55" CX, and it did and still does blow me away. If you can afford it and a warranty of some kind (just in case), I would wholeheartedly recommend it, especially for gaming.

I upgraded from not Sony X900F (not so budget considering it set me back over 1000 Euros to get it) from 2 years ago to LG CX and I don't wanna go back..

So yes, I would say it's worth it.

Anyway, i've been quite tempted by this offer, since I've had an OLED as a target for quite a while now..  
My current TV is a 43" LG UH650V (Pretty lame). However, i find it OK for the time being, with the main usage being Netflix and some PS4 gaming. I'm definitely picking up a ps5 in some months time tho.

To be honest, I am constantly trying to fine tune it but I never seem to find any screen settings that fit to my likings, that has to do with the TV of course...

So is it worth upgrading from a budget 4k to the BX? Will the difference be obvious in every day conditions? Thanks in advance.

Is it worth upgrading to LG BX from a 4k budget 4y old TV?

Fix expected March 2021. * LG: BX, CX, seems to have the least problems, with in-built apps supporting Atmos, but there are still audio cut-out issues. Seems like LG is the safest bet out of the three (though they have shitty LCD TVs) and Sony might work most of the time but no TrueHD contents?.

 It is super thin. It saved me during a local Cable provider negotiations blackout! Setup was very easy. Remember, some of your resolution, etc. is limited by your cable company

Buying this TV was a mistake. It’s really slow and takes forever to change channels or input sources. It also doesn’t actually work well with the HomeKit features you’re probably buying this for.
