LG B9 vs LG CX OLED

] Audio quality: not amazing, but decent sound quality coming out of the speakers. High end is not quite there, but good low end. Have not adjusted (or even found) EQ settings for audio. THE BAD: A) Does NOT switch input sources when I power up the AppleTV (connected via HDMI ports on a home theater)

They are serviceable for watching the news or something simple like that but even then they come off as being tinny or hollow sounding. You can help this a little bit by manually adjusting the EQ but who calibrated the built in options must have been listening from a different room. All in all I would probably buy this TV again but I would probably look a little harder at non OLED options to really get a better sense of all the options they can provide.

The LG 55B9 has outstanding resolution capabilities, but for it to display that quality will require some adjusting. For me it required extensive youtube investingation and research. I am unwilling to pay for professional calibration. I do not need the purest picture rather one that satisfies me which I could probably find in a less expensive tv

You have to have the money available at the time of the notice and act quickly. got it at msrp.+ tax. lucky day

Setting resolution in game to 2560x1440 does not trigger the game to use 120hz, only 60hz. Only way to get around this for me was changing windows resolution to 2560x1440 120hz before I launch the game and only in borderless windowed mode will I get 120hz in game. Then while in game I can ALT ENTER to switch to fullscreen mode and it keeps my 120hz. This is the case with Doom 2016, I think some games asks windows for highest refresh rate and not Nvidia/monitor adapter

Why it needs so many software patches, I do not know, I guess I'm glad it continues to receive support but it is concerning / annoying to say the least. Also, for $3k I would hope for a higher refresh rate, at least 240Hz which this TV is not. PC games look ok but could look worlds smoother with a faster response time.
