There aren't any OLED TVs available at a budget price point, but the LG A2 OLED comes close. It's an excellent TV, delivering similar picture quality to the more expensive OLED TVs on this list, but it lacks all of the advanced features found on the other models. It still delivers stunning picture quality in a dark room, with deep, inky blacks that look perfect in the dark, with no distracting blooming around bright highlights in dark scenes.

 Let's start as usual with OLED TVs, with the old 65CX's superlative contrast performance. LG seems to have worked very hard on the balance between achieving truly inky blacks and retaining shadow detail. So black levels look slightly deeper than they did on the C9, while shadow detailing is significantly more satisfying than it was on last year's B9, which actually went deeper with its black levels than the C9 did.  The old 65CX's audio is a mixed bag. In the plus column, if you use its AI Sound Pro mode it can deliver a huge wall of sound that projects far beyond the TV's edges. This sound projection is well controlled, too, in the sense that audio effects are believably placed, and nothing becomes either too pronounced or lost in the sound expansion process. The CX range is seriously gorgeous

 Why it needs so many software patches, I do not know, I guess I'm glad it continues to receive support but it is concerning / annoying to say the least. Also, for $3k I would hope for a higher refresh rate, at least 240Hz which this TV is not. PC games look ok but could look worlds smoother with a faster response time.

Worst TV Foot EVER.

 This seemed to be a deal-breaker at first because with instant response off you get a TON of input lag (move mouse, cursor moves wayyy later. Controls feel rubbery). The good news is I was able to work around this by switching to the "game" profile, which leads to the next bug:  -Auto power saver profile: The tv seems to want to randomly switch to the auto power saver video profile, and it causes lots of problems. Switch off this profile ASAP and if you have problems see if the TV randomly switched you back to it

  Sound: [5/5] Not used at all (I have it running on an external 7.1 setup), but it's fine for on-tv sound. That said, who on earth uses on-tv sound on a $3k TV?!  Software/OS: [1/5]. BUGS FOR DAYS (more on this later) The gist of it is there are a million settings, often tucked away after menu UNDER menu UNDER YET ANOTHER menu

 The LG C10 then, what do you need to know? Well, firstly, that this is a review unit that was provided by LG for this video. But secondly, that this really isn't your Black Friday bargain from ASDA. No, this is very much a top tier set for those that want the very best with headline specifications such as full 4K resolution, a true OLED panel for infinite contrast and perfect blacks, and then future proof tech such as HDMI 2.1 and EARC support

 In the real world, I'm still a bit of a manual tweaker to get the best from both worlds, but it is cool that you have so many different options available and I'm sure you're going to find one that you love. Over 50% of people that are going to be buying a TV like this probably will use the inbuilt speakers. And if you are in that camp, you'd be glad to know that we have things like Dolby Atmos support in here. So you get a little bit of spatial sound
