I have had my queen size Layla Hybrid for almost a year and I am still very happy. The mattress has held up well. I use the firm side, which has been great for me as a 5'10", 190 lb side sleeper with minor shoulder and hip issues.

But, if this mattress was for my master bedroom, I'm not sure I'd be willing to take a chance on a bed in a box.

I chose the hybrid because there were less negative reviews overall, and even though it was a bit pricey, i don't regret my purchase. I remember reading comments about how some thought it was much too firm (which would have been good to me cause im more used to my girlfriend's tempurpedic extra firm mattress these days), but let me tell you that this mattress isn't that firm at all really. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being a truly extra firm mattress, i would give it a solid 6 at best. Aside from that, everything seemed to work as intended and i sleep just fine so i really don't have any complaints except that price is bit more than what i was expecting

I think I like that Sealy Norman Hybrid, but read some "low quality" concerns from Sealy and wanna stear away from MF (even though it does come with an adjustable base, I'll probably never use it). I keep getting caught up in layers of foam, thinking that some of the brands with only 2-3 layers are suckers, or that Tufts and Needle doesn't count because it's not actual memory foam (original TF is 740 for a king right now). I just want something that is hopefully great from the first go, and has a refund policy I can trust if I need it (which is apparently not a given with Nectar or Zinus).

Sealy products are great! This mattress is no exception. It is a good cross between soft and supportive. My husband and I had a memory foam mattress before and it started to become very uncomfortable because we had it over 4 years. We decided to try this hybrid mattress and we LOVE it! Just enough softness with great support for our back and hips

She like firm and I like soft, some how this mattress is a perfect fit for us both. The one compliant I have is that the mattress is not true to size, we have a king and the dimensions of our mattress is a couple inches smaller than standard king size dimensions. We addressed this with the company and after sending a few pictures, they replaced the mattress, BUT the new mattress is again slightly smaller than standard king size dimensions. This has no affect on the comfort level, but it does look odd on our platform bed

The mattress is not bad. But I ordered us advertised 12-in mattress and I received 10 inch. one's the mattresses been inflated fully it's no way can be put back in a box and be returned. So be aware of the product you received make sure you receive the right size you order
