 The driver is so off center, and the handle is so thick it’s terrible at taking screws out, the knife has way too much play and I won’t even use it to open a box, and the saw cut pvc decently but doesn’t have the signature file on the edge for smoothing out ur saw job which is a big disappointment. Overall tool gets a 2.5/5 looks good in my collection but is definitely not something I would carry or use on a daily basis.

Definitely the most fun to play with leatherman, and is good for a fidget and showing off tool, but lacks in the daily use ability of carrying a multi tool. The tips don’t line up, making precise uses impossible, the whole tool will flex and bend if you try to grip something tight, and the design makes it easy to slip and get pinched between the handles, this tool has made me bleed on multiple occasions. Not the best Leatherman, still neat though

 The knife is razor sharp and I like the idea of the seat-belt cutter and oxygen wrench built in.

When I first saw the OHT I had to have it, I have been a fan of Leatherman for a while now and now you can open it with one hand. Two small problems, first when the pliers are closed they are not perfectly aligned and there is a small gap to the back of the pliers when closed as compared to my Gerber. But it works well and had no further issue with that. Second, it says it is made in USA but nowhere it is stamped made in USA on the pliers like my original Leatherman that I purchased a while back

 I'm not saying the tool would break but not a good design. Also the knives/saw appear smaller than on either of my other tools but I did not compare side to side. I'm OCD so if I'm wrong I'll change my review. I understand some compromises because of the quick opening of the pliers which works very well

 I'm okay with my choice but this tool kind of leaves me wondering if I the $20 cheaper or more, would have been at least as good?  All said and done I would recommend this tool for someone to throw in a tackle box or would primarily use the pliers or if they have a need for the quick access of the pliers. The OHT is not bad but I just don't feel like I have a leatherman. I love my wave and the ability to change bits and the bit extender. The wave is my go to tool no way this could replace it

 I'm OCD so if I'm wrong I'll change my review. I understand some compromises because of the quick opening of the pliers which works very well. Just a word of advice do not try to use two hands. If you squeeze on the handles too much it will make it difficult for the pliers to slide

 But overall the one handed opening pliers is just a gimmick if you don't really need it. If you could change bits out like the wave I might tolerate the other flaws more?

This is a great MultiTool. Build quality is outstanding and it’s USA made to boot. The one handed operation is a plus also. I am able to flick the plier head open with a flip of the wrist

The metal rails haven't jammed once, despite use in a desert climate (dropped it in sand), underwater, snow, ice, extreme heat (furnace, boiling water, engine components) seems to have little effect on the tool. With all of that being said though, the classic two-handed Leatherman might still be the way to go if you don't care for the one-handed opening

 The 154cm wire cutters are replaceable, so have no fears about wearing them down and being stuck with them.  Two cons regarding the OHT is its bulk and lack of carry options. If you don't like having the OHT in its MOLLE sheath on your belt, you have only the option of carrying it in your pocket. Leatherman has not yet released a pocket clip that can be attached to this particular model (hopefully they will!)

Duplicated that with the deploying knife and basically made, again, a thinner, lighter, more EDC-able, a multi-tool you'd much more put in your pocket, even more so than the Wingman or the sidekick. Why We Hate It: The Leatherman Rev

 Well folks, welcome to the channel and welcome to another episode.

 Today we're going to look at quite possibly the worst Leatherman I have ever used.

 I want to introduce you today to the Leatherman Rev.

 Recently the production costs of the Sidekick and the Wingman, which have been kind of the

 budget-friendly mid-size multi-tools for Leatherman for a couple years, have brought the price

 of those items a little bit out of what you would call budget.

 So to fill that void, the Rev was designed and introduced.

 But as we're about to find out here today, not only do I feel that the quality level

 of the Rev is much lower than what you would expect on either the Sidekick or the Wingman,

 but just some very basic design flaws, I believe, that could have easily been fixed and tweaked

 has really limited, it's not only desirability, but it's capability for those of you out there

 and really isn't worth purchasing, in my opinion, as I'm about to show you today, whereas the

 Sidekick and the Wingman still have a lot to offer.

 2.6 inches, the exact same steel, 420 high carbon steel with a hollow grind with this

 I like the fact that the Rev comes with that plain edge and then of course the Sidekick

 So again, all the exact same blades and how they're designed and set up and that 420 holds

 It's very easy to get a hair-propping sharp edge back on it and comes razor sharp.

 But what you'll notice is that the thumb notch for the sidekick is where it should naturally
