The two parts here this is where after the vegetables have been crunched down they get slowly pressed through these fine little grates or holes here and that's where your juice comes out. You do get a lot of pulp with this as well so you're not losing all of the fiber and then this piece just comes off as well

So obviously it's important to wash your vegetables which I've already done and have them prepped out here but even with doing the prep it takes literally no time to make them. So this gave me about a liter and a half of juice so that's three juices. If you were to get the 500 milliliters which would have cost me at least thirty dollars um to buy so definitely feel like I'm winning

Bottom line, if I need to chop the veggies up to avoid stalling the motor, the large chute provides no advantage or saves time over the Omega, and the juice has less pulp.  This is probably better for juicing soft fruits, apples, etc. but if you juice mostly greens and hard veggies a horizontal juicer is better

 OMG!!!  At this point I just want my money back.  The juicer isn't that great either, you can only do about three juices at a time because the fruit starts getting jammed and you have to wash all the parts to do a new one.  I don't recommend this machine!!! I hope I do get my money back.  I feel frustrated about all this happening!!!

The blank cone over rotates and plastic auger brakes twice in 5 times use

 look up how long juicing shelf life is. look up other companies/brands and where they source their plastic and labor. all that being said, i found that the OMEGA J8006HDS was the best fit for me and my needs. the price is worth it too for the warranty - not every brand offers that warranty

 not too many knooks or cranies for food to get into, so pretty much you just rinse every piece and its good to go. fast cleaning.  do your research. look up differences btwn masticating and centrifugal

Omega J8006HDS Nutrition Center Juicer Review

 The down side as far as this model goes is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The auger could be a little bit bigger so it can be more tightly pressed so the pulp wont come out so dang wet! If they ever redesign the auger for this model, I will definitely upgrade and keep it because cleaning this baby is such a breeze! BUT I hate that I had to send my pulp back through the machine because I know this can mess some juicers up. But I know the model and knew it could tk it. Plus if I had an issue with the pulp there's also a reverse button

 Just need to do something about that auger. I was looking at omegas commercial juicers. I'll try that next. I know that would be a better option for me as much as I love juicing! Anyway, if you made it to the end of my review, HAPPY JUICING KIDS! Hope this helps you to make the best decision for you! :)  UPDATE 2022: Still going STRONG! The issue about the pulp being too wet was solved by adjusting the knob in the end more and also NOT sending so much through the chute at once helps as well!  The centrifugal juicers I've reviewed, like the Breville JE98XL or the 200XL, do a great job on hard fruits and vegetables, but not for leafy greens. And the centrifugal juicers are also noisy. The Omega is not noisy, because its motor runs at a slower speed. The Omega is also pretty easy to clean up, because the pieces come apart so quickly

 So here is our nutrient-rich green juice. The Omega J8006 is a very efficient juicer. It leaves very little waste and saves you money on expensive, fresh produce. It's also easy to clean up and is the quietest machine that I've used so far
