Omega VSJ843

I have an Omega VSJ843 and I love it. It’s so easy to clean and you don’t have to chop food up too small. It’s also very efficient and has been shown to extract more juice than others in some side by side comparisons.

John Kohler likes the Omega VSJ843 juicer a lot. If I had to buy another juicer, I'd try a friends VSJ843 to see if I like it better than the Kuvings (though Kuvings has a long warranty period and I hear is excellent about warranty response; certainly their customer service was prompt in replying to me and also in shipping an extra part I ordered).

If you can't afford a hydraulic or otherwise prefer a different type, then a masticating juicer is the way to go. I own both a Norwalk and also a (masticating) Kuvings EVO820 (which is very similar to the Kuvings 7000). Both are fine juicers for what they are, and they each have pros and cons. If buying another masticating juicer, I'd probably go for an Omega vsj843 (John Kohler of likes this Omega version best and he has tested many).
