 All right, so now that we've heard some tones, let's take a look at a couple of different ways that you can use the Morning Glory in your own setup. And one of the most common ways to use blues breaker style overdrive pedals is as the always on pedal for a little bit of kind of tone sculpting to add some chime and some gloss, as well as pushing your amplifier to kind of get the best sound out of it. The pedal does the job - it is an overdrive pedal, ok? What’s the hype???  I don’t see anything special about this overpriced pedal which should cost $50 or less. Thousands of other OD pedals that sound 99.9% the same. I can’t stand the tiny font used for the labels and their low contrast against the brown background, and the knobs and the knobs themselves

Does the job but nothing special.

 I'm really surprised this wasn't caught. It means that you can't just drop the pedal in and assume all is good; you have to make sure the jacks and power fit.  That's enough for me to knock off a star. Possibly more, depending if this ever really gets in my way

Great pedal, strangely (and potentially dealbreaking, depending on your setup) placed jacks/power input.

I previously tried one of the cheaper mini-sized Chinese-made Klon-type pedals from another manufacturer. It worked OK but this pedal is better, even if it does cost more. The normal pedal size form factor makes it more usable than a mini pedal - it stays put, the knobs are not crammed together, the markings on the knobs are clearer.  In use it has a better clean boost tone, easily adjustable with the bass, mid and treble controls, another advantage

One for the tone patrol.
