Another way that you can use it is as a clean boost, which you can use to brighten your favorite amp or even give it a little bit more character, or you can even drive it a little bit hotter to kind of push it into some dirtier territory. Now, when it comes to stacking, there's a couple of different ways that you can approach it

 The JHS Morning Glory is the pedal that put JHS on the map.

 It's won countless awards and is held up as one of, if not the best transparent overdrive

 And with such overdrive pedals, there are a number of different ways that you can use

 You can do a couple of different tonal demonstrations with the Morning Glory, as well as look at

 a few different ways that you can use it in your rig and in your setup.

 And to help you find exactly what you're looking for, the timestamps in the progress bar and

 the description below should be able to help you out.

 The Morning Glory is a light to medium gain overdrive pedal modeled on the coveted Marshall

 It's described as being truly transparent because it retains both your guitar and your

 amplifier's natural dynamics, colouring your tone as little as possible, while at the same

 time kind of giving things a glossy, glassy edge, which is perfect for if you're looking

 to give your tone just a subtle hint of grit, the sort of edge of breakup kind of sound,

 or if you're looking to push your amp a little bit harder to sort of really get the best

 Now there's a very simple layout with just three knobs, volume, drive and tone, as well

 as the toggle, which triggers the pedal's second gain stage.

 Now this tightens up the low end, it sort of increases the drive sensitivity and can

 also be triggered on the flyer on a pedal board if you are using a JHS Red remote or

 sort of any number of kind of external third party footswitches.

 And there's also a high cut switch just on the side to kind of tame the high end on those

 using brighter pickups, amplifiers or setups.

 on his own board for a number of years, is to sack the Morning Glory into a clon style

 And you can also go the other way, stacking pedals into the Morning Glory to drive it

 a little harder and get its own distortion coming out of it, which you can do using any

 number of different drive pedals, a boost, an overdrive, a distortion, even a fuzz.

 It's really entirely up to you and your taste of preferences.

 Now, for the way that I use it on my board, it functions as kind of a preamp where I stack

 everything into it for the sake of overall consistency with the tone.

 I'm not too much of a fan of changing the tone all that much between triggering different

 And then if I need a boost for a solo or lead part, I just trigger the second drive stage

 using the red remote, which fattens everything up as well as giving it just enough of a lift

 There is a reason that it's as celebrated as much as it is.

 And I honestly don't know what else I can say apart from that.

 If you're one of those people, like I was before I bought this, that's been bouncing

 around between different overdrives looking for the right one, but you haven't been able

 to find it, chances are this is the one that you're looking for.

 It's an overdrive pedal that simply takes everything good about your tone and your amplifier

 But actually, one thing to keep in mind if you are looking into purchasing a Morning

 Glory or a transparent overdrive is that you have to really love your amp's bass clean
