 The system has four hundred and fifty watts of power and I'm not quite sure how that power is divided between the bar and the subwoofer, but regardless, however, they do it. It'S done very well because, as we'll talk about later, the sound that comes out of this is extremely loud. The wireless table has a tenant, Wolfer downward firing, and it is very deep and creates some amazing amount of bass. The sound bar itself does have quite a bit in the way of connections

 My final thoughts for the JBL bar three point: one first final thought is, I think I may have underestimated JBL and in my mind, up until a couple months ago, I really thought of them as more of an 80s or 90s company with you know back when Four speakers were the thing and I kind of forgot about JBL. Maybe I just didn't pay attention, but about a month ago you may have seen my review of the JBL link series they're smart speakers, bluetooth speakers and I was really blown away by just how good those were so when they sent me the bar 3.1. I was really curious to see if it would be just as surprising, and it really was so I don't know what JBL is doing differently these days, but whatever they're doing it's, it's the right thing, because they're making really great products, the bar 3

 You have the sound bar and the wireless subwoofer. You also have two power adapters, one for each speaker. You get a auxilary, cable, audio, cable, three-and-a-half millimeter and you get a HDMI cable which is kind of nice and I'll, explain later kind of how that comes. In handy and the last piece is, there are two small little cubes that you can use for mounting this to the wall and the way it works is it's essentially kind of a keyhole slot system and the slots are on the back of the sound bar

 You get 10 hours of use, but when you want a true surround sound, more cinematic effect, those speakers little speakers on each end, basically just unplug them from the sound bar and then you can position those wherever you want in the background, so that you really do Get a full surround sound, not just a kind of a simulated surround system and the 5.1 retails for believe $ 6.99. So again, you've got anything from 150 all the way up to almost $ 700, so plenty of options and I'm sure, whichever one you choose you'll be happy with

JBL Bar 3.1 - Full Review

First I tried the LG SL7Y - returned because of the crappy sub, it really lacked any bass punch. Then I tried the JBL Bar 3.1 - returned because, while it had great bass, it literally had no mid-range to speak of, everything sounded tinny and boomy - it was a real THUMPER but had ZERO mid-range.

I'm looking at buying either a Denon Home Sound Bar 550, or a Denon HEOS Bar, or another alternative that might be better somewhere around the price range of the Denons. Quality of listening music is at least as important as the quality of movie/TV sounds, for me. Does anyone here have some advise, or tips regarding other options? Thanks in advance!

Tips on which soundbar to choose?

For orchestral tracks, like the opening scene in John Adams' The Gospel According to the Other Mary, the lower register instrumentation sounds excellent&mdash;it can be dialed back to a reserved status, or pumped up to over-the-top presence. Somewhere in the middle, the lows sound rich, full, and complementary to the bright presence of the higher register brass, strings, and vocals.

Not everyone will enjoy having a speaker the size of a small trash can in their living room, but if you can get past the size, it delivers some serious rumble.  For music especially, we recommend keeping the bass at 15, or just a hair above if you want some added oomph. 

On Chapter 3 of the Casino Royale Blu-ray, the Bar 3.1 delivers the punches, gunshots, and explosions of the soundtrack with exciting power. With the bass levels at 20, the rumble in these moments is fantastic, and never overshadows the clarity of the highs. Voice mode can also be employed to boost the dialogue a bit, but we found Standard and Movie modes to be the best for films, and speech clarity was never an issue

JBL Bar 3.1 Review

Barely any mid-range at all. The settings for "movie", "music", "voice", etc. - all they are is EQ settings, nothing more. You can't fix the lack of mid-range

Considering the price, if you aren't picky, the unit sounds good for the price. If you are expecting high quality audio, go elsewhere. TBH, my ~10 year old $250 Bose computer speakers sound slightly better than this. But they are wired and use a puck to control the volume so it was a no-go for my entertainment center

It's wireless, and can be moved around the room. The plain black appearance makes it easy to blend into any room. It can get really loud if you want it to.

 For the money you can't go wrong. Anyone who gives it 5 stars either hasn't owned a stereo system before, or aren't able to discern one brand from another. It sounds good, but not 5 stars great.

Decent sound, but lacks midrange

 The midrange is fair. Great god watching movies. The 5% reward is not available on purchases over $150!!!

 Love the center channel. This is an undervalued feature that makes all the difference in clear speech during movies. I have a 12” JBL downfiring sub on another system and if anyone thinks the 10” is unable to perform I can assure you that size of speaker does not correspond to fidelity as speaker parameters do. Size refers to volume not speaker rolloff

 I have seen the amazon price for new go from $399 at the time I purchased to $449 then $429. The used like new have gone up to $379. Walmart plays the same game The reason I care is I am so enamored with the system I plan to buy another for my daughter but am annoyed by their routine. It is worth $449 but I like To save money

 I ended up plugging the firestick directly to the TV and using an optical cable to send sound from the TV to the bar with no issues.

Sound on the whole is pretty good but i have yet to find a sound bar that delivers a full voice sound. The Sub-woofer, however, is absolutely fantastic. It could go toe to toe with my Polk 12" front facing sub-woofer.

My main complaint is that the Bluetooth connection is quite finicky and randomly loses signal for milliseconds at a time, which is just enough for you to want to pull your hair out.

Here’S a sound test, so you can get an idea of what I’m talking about And to go along with the great sound. You also get a bunch of inputs. There’s, three HDMI ins and an out with ARC an analog optical and USB input along with bluetooth

If you're looking for an affordable bar with lots of thump and punch in the bass, check out the Vizio V Series V21-H8. It's a 2.1 setup like the Samsung HW-A550, but its dedicated subwoofer can reproduce a more extended low-bass, making it a solid choice for listening to bass-heavy music. There's even a subwoofer level control that lets you adjust how loud the subwoofer gets.

Its default sound profile is quite bass-heavy, so you feel the rumble in bass-heavy genres like hip-hop and EDM. The mids are still quite balanced, so dialogue in TV shows is clear and detailed. You also have some options available to help customize its performance, including bass and treble adjustments and a dialogue enhancement mode.

It lacks Atmos support, and its surround sound performance isn't the most impressive. You won't find a full graphic EQ, limiting your ability to adjust its sound, especially in the mid-range. Still, if you want a budget-friendly bar with a boomy bass, it's a good pick.

While the very low price of the Vizio V-Series 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar V21-H8 had us momentarily questioning our ears, we can assure you this soundbar sounds better than several more expensive competitors, while offering a dearth of useful features and presets. There is a powerful subwoofer that Vizio recommends placing next to or behind the audience, where increased proximity to the rumbly bass makes for an exciting experience. Dialogue enhancement and night mode also make for a great viewing experience at lower volumes.
Though this model is solid for the price point, it can't hold a candle to the higher-end model in terms of overall sound quality. While powerful, the bass can sound muddy and overwhelm the rest of the mix. When we did turn the bass down, the weak mids and sometimes harsh treble became more apparent. This isn't too much of a problem when watching action films at high volumes, but it makes for a poor experience when using the soundbar to listen to music. Still, this soundbar is a monumental improvement over any built-in TV speakers, and if your bank account can't absorb a high-end sound system to pair with your newly acquired flat screen, the Vizio V-Series 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar is a very solid option.

 Just give you an example. Uh klipsch, which is a which is k-l-i-p-s-c-h, makes their sound bars right here in the usa. They also have quite a few uh products that the audio file within you would certainly love to take a look at we're talking. Speakers headphones, sound bars amongst all those things, so uh take a look at that company and potentially make the decision to buy a usa made avoiding this 160 dollar sound bar
