Stylish room!  The IKEA Poang is a good choice for a chair (acoustically speaking); if you start having difficulty getting out of it, consider a Stressless or Eames chair. Either would look great in your room.

Sunset Listening

Just as a tip/recommendation regarding the Ikea Poang (as I'm currently holding a sleeping baby sitting on the same chair), get a comfy cushion, maybe two for your arms to rest on when you're holding or feeding your baby. The arm rests are just a little too far apart and low for an averaged size person to comfortably support the weight of the baby. A little cushion will help!

Since I first bought this chair back when they first released from Ikea, I loved this chair! It is very affordable and very comfortable. This chair conforms to my body nicely and I can sit in the chair for hours. I had to give my Poang up when we moved back home. There are no Ikeas in Hawaii

 I now have to buy replacement cushions with different type cushion headrests. Add the Poang Footrest and you will easily take many naps in this chair!

If you go for the Poang, the leather cushions are way more stiff and less comfortable. They also push your head forward even more. I would pick a fabric option with a detachable headrest like the Vislanda. For critical music  listening, low back chairs are always going to be a better option

Though it sits slightly lower and has a shorter back than similar models, this geometry doesn't detract much from its overall comfort. While we like that we can fit a big 1-liter Nalgene water bottle into the cup holder, these pockets are not the most secure for smaller drink containers like a 12-ounce glass bottle or can. The odd shape can also get easily caught when putting the chair back into its carry bag. The seating platform also sits a bit lower than others, which could be an issue for taller folks. This isn't the most supportive chair, with a typical seat slouch and an upright back. Still, we think this is an impressively versatile, comfortable, portable chair that also happens to be one of the most affordable options we tested.

 We might have gotten these on sale, I don't recall exactly, but it was about $ 30, maybe 35 apiece and right now, there's no real downsides. We'Re seeing. I think the only thing that you know these would not be backpacking tears again. This is good car, camping chairs or maybe a short hike in, but this is these are definitely not light light weight chairs

 So these are really nice for camping in terms of like car. Camping, probably wouldn't want to take it backpacking and it doesn't have a really solid frame, which is nice, but it adds a little bit of weight. Obviously, and little things like the holders. You can put a cell phone or whatever you got in there and then a kind of multi-use drink holder there or it's kind of nice

 It can fit different sizes. You can pop a couple things in there and that's why we got it. So we can toss it in the car and go it's lightweight enough, that we could do a lot with it, but it's certainly not going to weigh us down. So again we really like the lightweight aspect of it and you can see in the mesh it's nice that there's not a lot of additional weight, but it's surprisingly solid when you sit on it and you can see the stitching and all the added support
