Stylish room!  The IKEA Poang is a good choice for a chair (acoustically speaking); if you start having difficulty getting out of it, consider a Stressless or Eames chair. Either would look great in your room.

Just as a tip/recommendation regarding the Ikea Poang (as I'm currently holding a sleeping baby sitting on the same chair), get a comfy cushion, maybe two for your arms to rest on when you're holding or feeding your baby. The arm rests are just a little too far apart and low for an averaged size person to comfortably support the weight of the baby. A little cushion will help!

Since I first bought this chair back when they first released from Ikea, I loved this chair! It is very affordable and very comfortable. This chair conforms to my body nicely and I can sit in the chair for hours. I had to give my Poang up when we moved back home. There are no Ikeas in Hawaii

 I now have to buy replacement cushions with different type cushion headrests. Add the Poang Footrest and you will easily take many naps in this chair!

If you go for the Poang, the leather cushions are way more stiff and less comfortable. They also push your head forward even more. I would pick a fabric option with a detachable headrest like the Vislanda. For critical music  listening, low back chairs are always going to be a better option

As a wildlife biologist I needed something light weight and low to the ground as to avoid detection by harbor seals. It works wonders and has been through a lot of rain, mud, and drops but it is durable and doing the job we needed it for! I must be stationary in the field to make observations and I have a lot of equipment on my lap and feet so it would be nice to have a little side pocket aside from the cupholder but that is my only complaint. It really is a good chair for our team. :)

Quality is there. But too narrow.

After trying folding kids chairs from two other brands, this is the keeper. Small enough for our 5-year-old, but with plenty of room to grow. The lock knob is big enough for him to operate himself, which wasn’t true of another brand.
