IKEA Hesstun vs Tempur-Adapt

8lbs (which I believe is the top comfort layer). Although 1.8lbs is not bad quality, given that this foam is at the very top I would not expect it to have all that long of a life. Maybe 2-3 years? Maybe more

It's lovely! Sleeping on it all night, I woke without a sore back (that's rare!) I slept like a baby (also rare!) it isn't a super-deep mattress, so normal sheets fit, and the full-sized comforter isn't too short. On other beds that I have, because the mattresses are so tall (deep or super-deep pockets), the top sheets, blankets, and comforters are always too short. This mattress doesn't have that challenge, but has a better feel than those expensive deep or super-deep mattresses. I wasn't sure what to expect with a mattress of this cost

However, two people should lift it to avoid dragging or soiling. After a month of sleeping, I can say this mattress is very comfortable and has maintained that comfort so far. I don't know what the deal was with my brother's all-foam Tempurpedic but this hybrid Tempur-Adapt rocks. We also purchased the Tempurpedic 2" ultra-low-profile foundation

I tried the Tempur Adapt ProMid plus cooling which was great and then I smushed it in like 2 months and then I moved onto the ProHi. The first ProHi was great and lasted for 4-5 months and then I ordered it again and it wasn't the same, I'm coming up on 3 months with the second one and it's not as high anymore. Is that the shelf life for pillows these days?
