 The Tube Screamer has been around for generations and had many incarnations.

 Ibanez aren't one to add loads of frills to an already iconic pedal.

 What they've done with this is add a clean boost, because most people these days the

 To get that lovely creamy distortion sound that we're all very very familiar with, with

 the little green boxes of awesomeness, you can give it a little bit of a pop by putting

 What they've added is a 20dB boost, if you want, to a TS808.

 Standard control, so overdrive, volume and tone.

 To the right is the boost volume, you can either use it as a clean boost by itself,

That’s one of my rigs and it absolutely roars. It’s what an electric guitar is supposed to sound like, it’s what I hear when I think of the electric guitars

Personally I'm a sucker for those 70's treble boosted tones, think Blackmore, Rory Gallagher and Page.

Something about that sound just makes it so versatile, plus you can really hear the articulation of their playing with the natural character of the overdrive.
