I found this pedal and found that it interacts with my amp/speaker in such a way that it achieves that clean tone pretty accurately with the settings shown in the image. I literally never use any other setting on this pedal, I get my mid-high gain tones exclusively from the amp.

My Current Pedalboard and Future Plans

 It works and sounds and feels exactly like a Tube Screamer, shrunk down, which is great for pedal boards obviously, give you plenty of room on your pedal board, and the way they got away with that is that there's no 9-volt battery option, so you have to always plug it in. But that's cool, if it's living on your pedal board, that's where it is anyway, and the nice thing is you can kind of put it at any angle and do whatever you need to do. So here's the, the overdrive is the big knob, which is the handiest thing because you know, you may want more or less amounts of overdrive obviously, and then the level control is small and tone control is small, but same controls as the original Tube Screamer, sounds great as you can hear. Today I'm playing a Fender American Standard Stratocaster through a Fender Princeton Reverb amp, and here we are with the Tube Screamer mini bypassed

And one of the most common ways to use blues breaker style overdrive pedals is as the always on pedal for a little bit of kind of tone sculpting to add some chime and some gloss, as well as pushing your amplifier to kind of get the best sound out of it.
