FPS Mouse like I've never experienced.

I am going to preface this with the fact that I am a palm grip mostly. I've seen criticism over the large "hump" of this mouse and that may factor in if you have smaller hands. I do not. BenQ Zowie EC2-A Review

Is the EC2-A and the rest of the Zowie ilk the best option for Mac users? Not necessarily. Many of Logitech's gaming mice, such as the Logitech G Pro and the newly revived MX518, also work on Macs, but the Zowies at least should be part of the conversation. If nothing else, the EC2-A is cheaper and has a more ergonomic shape than Apple's Magic Mouse 2.

Comfort

Great wireless mouse that pairs with my other hyper-x products - Qi wireless charging a big win!

This is a great mouse and super-comfy to use. I use it for a combination of recreational gaming and for business use for my small business. I love the fact that I can charge it on my dual Qi charging pad that I keep on my desk, I put it next to my phone when I get done for the night and it tops up for the next day. I have the hyper-x Alloy origins keyboard as well, and I like that I can use one app to set up both of these peripherals

Sturdy and reliable but could use improvements

The EC2 is a relatively comfortable mouse, although the coating might feel better being a bit more toward the matte side than the more glossy/matte feeling it has. The mouse buttons feel good, although the comfort grooves feel as though they push my index finger closer to the wheel on the left mouse button with my palm/claw grip. Coming from the Deathadder Elite, the shape doesn't feel as comfortable to me and it doesn't feel like much of an extension of my arm as the Deathadder Elite was. The side mouse 4 and 5 buttons are just not good, in my opinion

Weight

40 bucks, AWESOME mouse. (less awesome software.)

For context, I'm coming from a Redragon Cobra M711 and I didn't want to spend the extra $10 on a Glorious Model O. And to be honest, I'm absolutely glad I went for this mouse. Pros: - This mouse is SUPER light. it's as light as a Finalmouse while being significantly cheaper

This mouse weighs in at 80g according to SS, It would have been nice to see them get it down into at least the low 70g range. I think anything 80g and under is a good weight, they just happen to be right at the highest acceptable weight imo. I didn't have any complaints with the 80G GPW though so I can't really complain to much here either.

Dpi Settings

Solid mouse in general (not just for the price)

The mouse has been good for my claw grip for the few weeks I’ve had it. The onboard dpi button makes it easy since you just have to remember the 4 stages which you can change in the software and their corresponding color which changes on the scroll wheel. It’s slightly lighter than the g pro super light but has a back that’s shorter so it feels considerably smaller. Uses USB-C and the battery life has been great

Scroll Wheel

Okay; HyperX is a flexible company

This mouse is nice for handling; it’s comfy, sleek, and sturdy. However, the scrolling wheel was wonked out when I started using it. Totally out of calibration. I contacted the company though, HyperX, and they were able to replace the model

It's that kind of scroll wheel I'd bet $50 won't work in 6 months. The steps are too far apart. Sure, it's good for switching weapons but for browsing any sort of content it takes a ton of strides. Yes, it's that kind of scroll wheel where you need 2 fingers for that extra scrolling speed

Functionality

Nice hardware undercut by broken firmware and software

The official, stable release does not list the Surge as a supported model, but it IS in fact fully supported. The stable release is the software you want, because it functions exactly the way any RGB customization software should: It lets you save profiles to the firmware, can be minimized to the system tray, etc. Bearing all of that in mind, watch out for the Windows Store beta release of the software - This is the release you want to avoid like the plague. It does not save color profiles to the firmware correctly, and cannot be minimized to the tray, meaning that you will have to keep the window open in the taskbar to make your color profiles work

best optical mouse for right handed

Improve the spin of the mouse wheel, every mouse I've tried from you has been awful on this. Do all that and I'd be happy to pay even more than you're charging for this barely acceptable mouse.
