Can't get a good one

Great wireless mouse that pairs with my other hyper-x products - Qi wireless charging a big win!

This is a great mouse and super-comfy to use. I use it for a combination of recreational gaming and for business use for my small business. I love the fact that I can charge it on my dual Qi charging pad that I keep on my desk, I put it next to my phone when I get done for the night and it tops up for the next day. I have the hyper-x Alloy origins keyboard as well, and I like that I can use one app to set up both of these peripherals

It's so small that my thumb accidentally clicks the side buttons constantly and I've never had a mouse cramp my hand worse. The hump on the XM1 is closer to the middle of the mouse than the GPW so I never accidentally click the side buttons and it's incredibly comfortable for 5+ hour Warzone sessions. Dpi Settings

Solid mouse in general (not just for the price)

The mouse has been good for my claw grip for the few weeks I’ve had it. The onboard dpi button makes it easy since you just have to remember the 4 stages which you can change in the software and their corresponding color which changes on the scroll wheel. It’s slightly lighter than the g pro super light but has a back that’s shorter so it feels considerably smaller. Uses USB-C and the battery life has been great

the dpi settings are jacked. I play with 400dpi with every single mouse and the variation of sensitivity is super minimal to none at all. This mouse felt like it was on 100 dpi while on the 400dpi setting

Functionality

Nice hardware undercut by broken firmware and software

The official, stable release does not list the Surge as a supported model, but it IS in fact fully supported. The stable release is the software you want, because it functions exactly the way any RGB customization software should: It lets you save profiles to the firmware, can be minimized to the system tray, etc. Bearing all of that in mind, watch out for the Windows Store beta release of the software - This is the release you want to avoid like the plague. It does not save color profiles to the firmware correctly, and cannot be minimized to the tray, meaning that you will have to keep the window open in the taskbar to make your color profiles work

I love this mouse

If you're looking for a cheap, functional gaming mouse without distracting lights or a weird space ship design, definitely take this one into consideration.
