HTC Vive Flow vs Meta Quest 2

I installed this strap setup and the headaches are pretty much entirely gone. I've played for at least one full charge every day since I got this product and played for ~12 hours (including a charge break) the day before writing this review and the difference is beyond night and day. The worst thing I've experienced is occasionally a hair might get tugged but that has happened maybe once or twice so far. The strap and back pad are nice and soft

The Vive Flow's form factor is great, but the resolution is just too small to be any good. If it was Micro-led it would have won. But we'll see the sales this Christmas and that will decide the winner.

I mean, everyone knows that the "Official" products are better, right? Not this time. The stock strap is always either too loose or too tight and, after a little while, it just starts to loosen up on its own..

This thing is dead on arrival. Facebook will sell more RayBan Stories than they'll sell of these.

Getting **consistently lowest possible latency** is very important for enjoyable gameplay. The freedom of not being tethered and still play your PC games is the best part here.

Index for me has been a great purchase, price point, beyond the tech specs is far better than any other system out there, and there are no compromises.

So, the Quest 2 is a steal! It's a cheap headset that's good enough, and since Facebook is subsidizing the cost, you really can't beat it's value!

The refresh rate definitely feels like it's not 90hz (it's 75). The FOV is slightly smaller than Quest 2, especially horizontal.

I didn't actually realize just how much visual quality I was missing with the old strap. I would definitely recommend this head strap as an upgrade to the stock strap.

But I still had to be careful while turning my head, and the feeling of carefully balancing the headset wasn’t exactly relaxing.

* The audio is fine. I'm used to the fancy valve index audio, but tbh the audio from the quest 2 headset is also completely fine, and I like being more easily able to talk to people around me irl.

The nubby handles results in my pinkie finger wrapping around the bottom (think that picture of Andre the Giant holding a can of beer), but the huge-ass grip button means my middle finger isn't wrapped firmly around the controller, so I'm holding it with the two weakest fingers on the human hand. The plastic feels cheap and makes me sweat a lot, the bulky sensor ring makes it feel top-heavy and like it will topple out of my hands if I don't hold on (even though it actually won't).

Christmas day came and my wife and sister had bought me some goodies for my Quest 2 (they had purchased them a while back, and they also were not aware of just how serious this issue was).
