Hisense 55A6H vs Sony X90J

all the Hisense tv I have sounds like it coming from a tin can. But like i said, at this price I'll take it and just add a sound bar, just like what I did with the other tv's I have.

I will keep the TV, but would go for cheaper model next time for my particular needs in that specific room. Unless you sit close to the screen, lots of the advantages of this screen quality get lost. Sound wise, it's actually usable after some equalizer adjustments, but here too I'm using HomePods that deliver fuller sound and don't sound like a TV speaker. (the TV allows connections to Amazon and Google wireless speakers as well)

Remote control is very intuitive and could not be easier to navigate. Including Disney plus, Prime Video, Netflix, Peacock keys on the remote. Could not be easier. Unit also connected seamlessly with Directv

It takes a total of 18 (yes, EIGHTEEN) button presses on the remote to successfully make a connection, and get me back to the input I was watching. (I'm not even including the button press on my headphones). In comparison, my Blu-ray player takes exactly ONE press of a button, but I like to use my Xbox for a superior picture, as well as 4K support (Xbox lacks Bluetooth). This seems like a software fix needed on Sony's end

I'm use to Roku TVs so when I had to log into my Google acct during the set up process, it threw me off a little. It was odd having to add it to my Google Home app that includes my hubs, cameras and doorbell. Once I've gotten use to it, I like being able to control it the same way I can control my other Google products. I've convinced my mom to buy the smaller version of this TV
