My brother spotted a Herman Miller sayl that was destined for the dumpster at the hospital he worked at. I wiped it down and there was nothing wrong with it, not even stains on the seat cushion. Great chairs, they hold up really well.

After months of looking, finally got my Herman Miller Mirra used for $225

The Sayl chair looks cool and is comfortable. However, after one year of light use, one of the arm pads is tearing in the top front. The arm pad is a semi rigid foam with a hard flat support stucture underneath. The problem is the foam pad extends out about an inch past the underlying rigid support

 So over time as the pad bends down it begins to tear  It appears the foam pad is glued on the support so it is not easily replaceable (like on the more expensive Aeron chair). The arm pad is a poor design. Now my chair with be sporting some sweet duct tape on the armpad. Classy

Comfortable but Not Top Quality

I got this chair mostly for the design and for the quality that herman miller is known for. I didn't want to buy a cheaper chair that would break in a year or two.  As far as the materials are concerned, the fabric mesh cushion is nice an firm. Good back support

Absolutely average chair, which should be priced at $79-100. Nothing negative to say about it, but there is nothing good either. Many chairs bought elsewhere would be much more comfortable at half price. Cannot say anything about reliability, as I just purchased it

 I've been spending a lot of time in my room, and particularly in this chair, so 300 and something hours in the past 14 days. And I must say, it's actually a very good chair. It's very comfortable for the long use. I've been sitting in this chair maybe 4 hours at a time throughout the day, maybe 8 hours a day, 10 hours a day, and I've been sitting in this chair for the past 2 weeks

 So that's all the adjustability. I want to go over the comfort and the support. One thing that is really good with this chair is it's very flexible, as you can see the construction in the back, it gives you a pretty good support, and I'll say this one doesn't have the lumbar support, which is another option that you can get, but this one doesn't have it, but I think it supports the back pretty well, and it's also very flexible, kind of like the M-body, but not as flexible, and not as supportive, but still very good. So you can see, I don't know, I hope you can see it on there, I can go on the left, go on the right, so it bends, kind of following your back pretty good

Overall this is a very comfortable chair, especially over a long period of time, like four hours, five hours on, it's a very comfortable chair, it has a very good support, that's a chair that supports your weight really well, it has a really good back support, it has tons of adjustability, and at $500 to $700 price point, I think it's a very good chair, it's definitely not cheap, but it is Herman Miller, and you know the quality is going to be good, and that is backed up by their 12 year warranty, so you should feel confident that at least your $600 or $700 chair is going to last at least 12 years

Update: I have been told that there is some kind of larger seat, or a seat extender (see comments below this review). I have not tried it, but my review is on the chair you get out of the box. Typically, when you have a base, that's thick, it tends to bottom out within a year of use, and that is something that i didn't want to happen, because i'm planning to have this chair for a very long time so spending the extra 100 made sense to me. Considering that my base would be made of breathable mesh now, is this chair worth the expense of price? Point 500 is a lot of money for a chair, and you have to think to yourself. Are you really going to be taking full advantage of all the features that this chair has to offer? If all you want is a simple basic ergonomic chair with none of the fancy bells and whistles that this chair has, then you could easily save two to three hundred dollars and just pick up a simple ergonomic chair

This is the mavic's m9 ergonomic slash gaming chair now, if you guys have tuned in my streams before you know how much i complain about my current regular, you know basic gaming chair and how uncomfortable it is. The armrest recently fell off yesterday and it has been causing me a lot of back issues, so i finally decided to pull the trigger and pick up an expensive ergo chair now, prior to picking up a new chair for my gaming and streaming setup

 I did a lot of research comparing a bunch of popular chairs such as secret, lab chairs, mavic's chair, the ergo chair two and a bunch more and after a lot of research watching a bunch of youtube videos, and even talking to some of my friends who have Personally owned some of these shares, i came to the conclusion that the mavic share would be the best chair to pick up for my personal needs. Now this chair came in at a whopping price of 555. I did use a discount code and was able to get it down to around 500, but still that is a lot of money for a chair now you might be thinking, that's a complete waste of money, but if you think about it for me, as somebody who Does a lot of video editing streaming and even school at my desk setup having a good chair is essential and i really need to you know, invest in a solid chair, so spending 500 to me. While that is a lot of money - and i had to consider this a lot - it made sense, so i picked up the all black with no modifications or know of the additional things that you could add on when you actually go to purchase

MAVIX M5 Unboxing / Review!

 I'Ve had this chair for a little over a month and boy do i have some things to say now before we get into a full disclosure, i'm not getting paid to do this, i'm not getting paid to do this review or say anything in this.
