My wife (5'6", 140, primarily side with some back sleeper) and I (5'9" 200, sleeps every which way) (Both of us are heavier than we were about a year ago and intend to get back to where we were, which is 130, 180 respectively) have laid on a lot of mattresses over the last week or so, and thus far our favorites have been the Helix Dusk Luxe and the Layla Hybrid. We both have a slight preference for the Layla hybrid.

I think I like that Sealy Norman Hybrid, but read some "low quality" concerns from Sealy and wanna stear away from MF (even though it does come with an adjustable base, I'll probably never use it). I keep getting caught up in layers of foam, thinking that some of the brands with only 2-3 layers are suckers, or that Tufts and Needle doesn't count because it's not actual memory foam (original TF is 740 for a king right now). I just want something that is hopefully great from the first go, and has a refund policy I can trust if I need it (which is apparently not a given with Nectar or Zinus).

We still haven’t found a bed we are sure we are going to keep. But the Winkbed Softer and Helix Midnight Luxe seem to be the best we’ve tried so far.

I have had my queen size Layla Hybrid for almost a year and I am still very happy. The mattress has held up well. I use the firm side, which has been great for me as a 5'10", 190 lb side sleeper with minor shoulder and hip issues.

You can actually see when hubby lays on it, that it looks like his hips are sinking in way too much to be supportive. We were considering the Helix Midnight Luxe if this one didn't work out, but after looking at it, it's almost the exact same as the DreamCloud, so not sure that makes sense.

I have the Midnight Luxe. I can’t compare it to the others you mentioned, though. Sorry!. What I can say is, compared to the old memory foam I switched over from, the Helix is definitely cooler

But they are very comfortable. If you want a foam bed, you should get a hybrid, because the spring layer will allow some air flow to cool you, I would avoid "all foam" with your weight and heat preference. Try a Leesa hybrid or another hybrid instead of an all foam nectar.

Helix Midnight Luxe - by far the worst, bed is way too firm and I keep waking up in the night with leg or arm numbness and my back is super sore in the morning. They already offered a soft topper and it doesn’t help. I need someone in between the Helix and the Sedona. Pressure relieving yet supportive
