My biggest gripe, and it’s big, is the battery life. My first time taking it out I decided to leave my phone tripod at home to save weight. I ended up having to balance my phone against a dead go pro to capture my camping trip.

Marketed as the world's smallest action camera, this tiny camera will appeal more to vloggers and content creators than rugged adventure-seekers. However, it's a unique option that can fit into the tightest spaces. It also comes with a magnetic pendant necklace that lets you discreetly shoot chest-level footage.

On top of that, it has some neat features you can access through the Insta360 companion app, including built-in editing features and stabilization that you can apply after the fact. That said, unlike the DJI Osmo Action or the GoPro HERO9 Black, which both fall around the same price point, the GO 2 can't record 4k video, limited to a max resolution of 1440p.  I wouldn’t trust this to wear with the hat clip. Don’t want to risk an explosion right next to my face, because this thing gets hot quick. The battery life wasn’t cutting it for me at this price point. The lack of a screen on this camera means you will be tapping and guessing as to whether the camera is on and working like you want it

Summary- I am returning this and will use a GoPro 10 instead. The GoPro has better image quality, is easier to use with its built in screens, and is roughly same price.  The magnetic medallion is cool, but I wouldn’t trust it. Could easily get knocked off, and goodbye $300

Stopped working after a few uses Buyer Beware

 the battery doesn’t last long at least you use it for short shots, the remote is a really good concept but it gets extremely hot specially during files transfer. Picture quality and stabilization is one of the best if not the best in the market as now. Warranty not what you will expect, you’ll be mostly receiving a pre recorded automated answer instead of someone really addressing to your concerns.

Camera is small an convenient, however it has a short record time. Once the camera start recording it will stop after 30 minutes. If you are using it for short sessions it works well, however if you plan on using it for an adventure that lasts longer look at something else. I will start off by saying that the video quality of this camera is great, the image stabilization looks great, and the video is nice and sharp for such a small device. I also notice that the charge case gets very warm, almost hot while using this, so the manufacturer states that you should not make recordings longer than 15 minutes, which is not even one full trail ride! They say you can go for as long as 30 minutes if the camera is mounted on a motorcycle, so I assume that applies to a bicycle as well..

 VERY HIGH FIDDLE-FACTOR! Not what I would expect, but I will keep trying and hopefully, Insta360 will come up with either an app update or firmware updates, because I really like this camera.  One other problem is that I am unable to connect the camera to my Mac nor to the Parallels Windows running on the Mac. I will try an old Windows PC one of these days, but for now, I have to fiddle to get the camera connected and save each video to my iPhone Photos app, and transfer them that was. Workarounds

Not what I would expect, but I will keep trying and hopefully, Insta360 will come up with either an app update or firmware updates, because I really like this camera.  One other problem is that I am unable to connect the camera to my Mac nor to the Parallels Windows running on the Mac
