It is a modified Insta360 G0 2 for the FPV drone market. For your use case, it has the advantage of being able to run off of an external power source so you run it longer than the built-in battery.

Summary- I am returning this and will use a GoPro 10 instead. The GoPro has better image quality, is easier to use with its built in screens, and is roughly same price.
