Gaiam Restore Total Body Foam Roller vs Supalak 15-Piece Resistance Bands

Was expecting it to last at least a year. Other than that experience with the foam roller is great. Videos gaiam makes for the foam roller have been fantastic since I had no clue what I was doing at first.

UPDATED REVIEW (2020-11-02): My trainer recommended these to me. After about 10 sessions the black 40 pound band snapped despite no outer wear or damage. Since I could not return them or replace them via Amazon at that point I decided instead to write my original review (preserved below) describing the problem. Almost immediately after posting it I was contacted by a customer service representative who offered to replace the set at no additional cost

I ordered this roller because it came with a DVD. I find I do better when I don't have to look up exercises and can just pop in a DVD.

However, this does not mean that this set isn’t effective for people like me who are getting back into being toned and have more strength. Being 52 I need to get into better condition and this is perfect for me. I find myself actually using it while I watch tv which for me is a huge plus! Overall, for me, as a complete beginner and using this while I watch TV, it is perfect for me. Someone who has been working out for years may not say the same thing, but that’s due to them knowing what equipment or tools may be better suited for them

This is my first foam roller experience. I am a total beginner. It was recommended to me to help with low back pain and tight hips. I received this item very quickly and was eager to try it out

It's just easier to note, track and identify which band is going to be more resistance. NEGATIVE? Length. These are made for small spaces. Nevertheless there's tons of exercises one can do to stay fit!

I have only had this item for a short time so I can't give a detailed description of my experience. My local Target has the same item, but I found it for a few dollars less (even after tax) via Amazon. There is a dvd that comes with it but its not for this roller. kinda weird this would be included if its for a different item

I sure wish there were tighter versions, especially since they are so long that it's hard to get much stretch.
