 I tried on Redwings iron Ranger also size 9 fit, Chippewa size 9.5 fit, Magnanni also size 9. My sneakers are usually size 10.5

 The review below is based on this. I also looked at the Magnanni's but ultimately decided against them early on because of price, and the fact that they are not U.S made- they fit me in a size 9, and seemed to be better quality than anything I came across  First impressions: Good quality leather uppers, not as comfortable out of the box as Woverines 1000 mile, not as stiff as Red Wing Iron Rangers.  Chippewa 13's didn't fit my somewhat wide foot, these do. For me it's a dressier boot that I can still work in but also wear out with jeans. I did mix some black/brown polish together to temper the reddishness and that helped.

5 fit best (though it was a little tight). I had to order a pair because the store didn't have the right color. When the boots arrived, I started wearing them only to realize that they are too big. Also, I had heard about how warm the traditional boot is, but I have not found this style to be very warm (maybe because it is too big or maybe because the lambs wool is only in the upper, not in the waterproof part of the boot?)

I am disappointed in this product. I tried on the boot in a retail store and determined that a 9.5 fit best (though it was a little tight). I had to order a pair because the store didn't have the right color
